- Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are separating. A source close to the 29-year-old actor tells Access Hollywood that the two have split after more than 14 months of marriage. Britney and Sam have yet to speak out on the topic, and Access Hollywood has reached out to both of their reps for comment. News of their separation comes two months after the pair marked their first wedding anniversary. But before they reached the milestone, the pair shut down split rumors after they were spotted without their wedding rings. Now, Access Hollywood is looking back at their relationship, from their first meeting in 2016 on set of Britney’s music video for "Slumber Party" to their June 2022 wedding.

Look how she was raised--and by whom! Her father stole over $1 BILLION from her, controlled her life, and even her birth control. While she did benefit from a conservator for several years, it should have been someone who did not destroy her life and her bank account. Brittney did not have positive role models in terms of love and respect. Both parents pushed ger to work from a very young age--she was their cash cow, not daughter.

I say: Don't get married. It isn't even necessary anymore when people aren't religious. He was there during the conservatorship when no one could get close to her, this random dude was planted in her life and became her “boyfriend” for many years before the conservatorship ended 🙄 I think Britney was just cleaning house and he was the last to get the boot from the conservatorship team. Whether he filed or she filed or she did whatever she could to drive him away and choose to divorce on his own accord, I don’t think she’s crying over this split. She’ll be putting out another book once her current one is released, I’m sure- whether her words or not on some of her cryptic posts, it was evident she wasn’t all in with Sam.
