Kotey (Live at the Magic Garden)

Live performance by the One Drum Rhythms, led by master drummer Abass Dodoo who's collaborated with the late CREAM drummer, Ginger Baker, Van Morrison, Pee Wee Ellis, Jonas Hellborg and Regi Wooten. Abass fuses traditional Ghanaian Highlife beats with funk, blues and jazz, adding chanted vocals, complex intersecting rhythms, and percussion into the mix.
