I was strolling through tj max yesterday afternoon, when I spotted this speaker in the electronic section. $150 didn’t seem too bad for it, considering how much they are going for retail. Can’t wait to try it out.

Yes i have Xtreme 2. Amazing sound and more deep bass than Xtreme 1.

Both extremes are 2x20 watts (on charging). So they are almost the same loud, but x2 sounds better because 55Hz-20kHz
while the x1 between 70Hz-20kHz frequency response.
Does the bass go down when it hits full volume?
No but it does distort a bit. Gets muddier.
Now on fw 2.3.0 it dont destort anymore.
So the bass gets louder until Max volume?

I just bought one last week to use when I’m golfing. Got it from Walmart for $80.00(I think they mis marked the price! good for me) it’s very solid and the sound is surprising. Definitely worth it

Which one has more bass in around 60% Volume. (Jbl not in AC mode) Jbl X2 vs Sony XB41 ?
For me it is the Sony, hands down! I did try the JBL in AC mode and it sounds a bit more powerful, but just a little bit.

Is it true xb40 has 2 bass radiators and xb41 has 1 bass radiator?
I believe the XB40 and the XB41 both have 1 bass radiator. I haven’t tested or reviewed the XB40. But from what I have read is that the XB40 is actually better on the low end, since it doesn’t exaggerate as much as the XB41. But personally and to be honest I cannot confirm or deny. What I can confirm is the sound quality of the XB41.

Honestly I am not sure. Maybe optional cables to use as spares or.in other countries. Doesn't make sense to me either...🤔
Tech Opened they don’t fit the xtreme 2 in any area and most people don’t know what they are for, I thought maby it could connect the the tv but it it’s the usb on the other side it’s just a random connected
Question... so in order to charge it, you plug it into the charging brick right? So what happens when the charging brick dies? Is that what the wall plug cord is for?

Would you recommend this speaker? Ive got a JBL Boombox but i want something just a little bit more portable that will fit in my backpack.. Boombox doesnt.. Ive been also thinking about buying 2x Charge 4 or 1x Xtreme 2.. not sure yet.
I would go with the Xtreme 2. But that is my preference.

@@basslover666 I upgraded from my charge 4 to the Xtreme 2 and omg the Xtreme 2 is so so so loud the sound quality is insane way better then charge 4 also the bass is crazy I can feel it on the floor the charge 4’s bass got weak at high volume

just ordered extreme 2 for 150 dlls plus tax directly from JBL web side and yeah there are expense regular price is over 300 dlls I hope its worth the money I just like to buy one because I like to go camping, fishing and beach 🏝

Do both xtreme battery’s work on the Xtreme 2 speaker?
I honestly would not know how to answer that. But me personally, I would not invest in another battery. The original one should last a pretty long time until you need to actually replace it. If it will work? I guess it will. After all it will have the same specs as the one you have.

What did that update brought more?
Need troubleshooting with my jbl extreme 2. While playing music there is a "tot tot tot tot" sound wil insert every ten seconds. How would i fix this.
Try resseting the speaker to factory settings.

Bro do you know how to turn off power saving mode in jbl xtream 2
Becoz its keep on turning off when its ideal for 10 mins
Its so irritating coz i have to again stand up to turn it on.

The speaker will turn on for the whole day until on turn it off ?
Try resetting the speaker. With the speaker on press and hold the Bluetooth + volume up button until the device turns off. Then turn it back on. It should enter pairing mode. Then pair it back again with your device. It should work. Try it and let me know if it solves the issue. 👍

Because that's the correct way to reset Xtream 2
And i tried to do the old method which you told me Bluetooth + volume up but nothing is happening in this one.
So in short nothing is working 🥲
Wow. I am running out of options at this point! Ok.. So you tried what I told you.. You have music playing and it shuts off after a while.. hmmm 🤔 You have it plugged into the charger and/or you have a fully charged battery correct? I know of one case where the user had it unplugged from the charger and it would shut down even when it indicated that it was fully charged. What was happening was the battery had issues. Another case was the board that was faulty which caused the battery to not hold its charge. But if you have it plugged into the charger and you still have that issue.. I would recommend contacting JBL directly or where you purchased it to get assistance or repair under warranty if that’s the case. I really do not know what else to say to help you.

I do not have the Xtreme 2 anymore. I honestly do not remember the exact dimensions. It does fit in the palm of your hand. So not very big.

You can always find better prices if you search a bit. But regarding the fact of it being worth it or not... I think it is worth it honestly. But for the average buyer, it is a bit expensive.

You know that old saying...? If it’s to good to be true, then it probably is! If it is a bidding item and not a buy it now, then it can still go up and actually have a higher reserve price. I didn’t try that. But I am almost positive it will not work. The USB port is only used for charging other devices.
Thats not a UK plug, UK plugs have three prongs
I know. It just came out on me in the video, because the UK plug was the only one I could remember, similar to the one in the video. My Gear S3’s plug is actually an UK one and I had more devices in the past with a UK plug. If I am not mistaken, I believe it is the Australian plug.

Can charge to car?
You would need a powerful car charger for that. Something like a fast charger. The 1 or 2 amp ones are to weak. You need to find a car charger that can put out more power or it will take forever to charge or not charge at all.

How about battery life
JhayZone! I did not test it playing non stop. What I can say though is that it lasted me a whole week unplugged and playing music at 30% volume for about an average 2 hours a day and I still had charge left. If your playing it louder and continuously, I would say you might get an average 14 hours. It will depend on how hard and loud you run it.

You dont need always the best of the best, try out some other speaker like the jbl charge 4 or xtreme 1 or teufel rockstar cross. I had the charge 4 and damn, it has much bass good sound quality and enough volume for this size. On the song „Byrd“ actully (by god im not lying) it shaked my room. Not sick but it did.

Honestly I never did. But it does come in handy for easy pairing with the device if say for example a friend wants to quickly connect to the speaker.

I haven’t had the chance to test the 3. But honestly depending on how much of a price difference you can manage to find, I would prefer saving money and get the 2. I am pretty certain the 3 will not justify paying a higher price. They say sound has improved but honestly...
