I remember racing against Czank's anglia 30 years ago, when Jannie Pelzer owned it. Had a v6 with gas and was called Time Attack. Bastid sandbagged and won our race in eliminations.... Jannie then went on to build a Nissan sentra with a blown small block and at one stage louis Lima was asking me about it as it was for sale (rolling chassis) and eventually after sitting at Louis for a time ended up with Lionel Kruger (think it was Kruger). Brings back many memories...
I've been so out of touch with what's happening locally I can't believe the level of machines in this video, big dollar race cars!@Joel thank you for the vlogs, they've been awesome of late and really enjoyable, please keep it up and I'll keep watching👊💪
this puts so much into perspective, I really like these videos, to all that were interviewed, keep doing what you love, you all are inspirational, thank you for what was done so far and what was achieved. at least you have a track, Here in Namibia, we are ages behind. but we will get there
Awsome stuff and they spot on if SA want to compete with the world and take drag racing as sport and way of living need to set the rules , different events classes, more proper tracks . We are light years behind

Seeing the Minnaar's corolla rolling onto the strip made me wonder if someone will ever host a roll racing event here in SA.
