I am very sorry you went to so much trouble to make this cute video and it didn't work out. I know you must have cleaned it first, but the only thing I can figure is it had some chemical on it. A chemical is the only thing I can think of that would explain your tingling. If the pan were mine I would hate getting rid of it but I would. I have a family friend who got one in the 70's loves it so much that every time hers dies she will stalk the thrift stores until she finds one again.

I have heard of cookware from the 70’s and 80’s having a flavor when they have not been used for sometime. Hope that did not ruin dumplings for you
I've had these growing up but more so the open faced skillet for breakfast items.
Contact the company even if it is an old product, and ask them for their opinion and any suggestions. Might be interesting.
