I had done numerous small cycling trips for a few years that was very enjoyable. By choice when economy took a nose dive in USA I gave up my apartment and stored a few boxes at a friends house and traveled about every road in Oregon. You are absolutely right about the list. Things I thought would be important ended up not and right till the last day I was learning new ways to thrive. I might add one if you don’t mind. Be prepared if you do for whatever reason that you have to live in “ normal society” again things will not be the same. I found it harder to have an apartment and vehicle etc etc. I find everyday yearning to be back on the road not just on a trip but living an adventure thx this video meant a lot to me
Great footage and travels Richard. Was amazed to meet you in Vanryhnsdorp a few days ago. You must be fearless even a bit crazy.😅 Felt sorry for you on that potholed Van Rhyns pass road what with all the trucks thundering past. Stay strong. 👍
