Surron on road setup - Ride to The Seven Waterfalls of Atera

I changed the wheels and tyre setup from my usual off road setup to on road and took the Surron out on a short road trip to a waterfall.

Ray what a lovely place you have on your doorstep.
What’s the range of the Surron compared to the Wanderer?
I can tell just from the onboard footage the Surron is a much faster machine.

Steve, the power is like a TC Max, 5kw central motor. The factory battery is 40ah and gets you about 30 miles. I have an after market 70ah battery. Normal summer riding, I get about 72 miles and about 60 in winter. The Sur-ron doesn’t have that crazy low power mode either.

Yes the stupid modes on the Wanderer. I found the modes never really made any difference on range. A turn of the wheel costs x amount of power regardless. Its just you’re turning a wheel for longer to achieve the same outcome A-B 👍🏻

Great video, thank you! Did you modify your Surron’s rear fender? I have an L1e with the brake light, turn signals and license plate mounted on a bracket over the rear tire. I like the look of yours much better.
