I'd also let them know you have difficulty concentrating, especially in a quiet environment. An open, quiet office environment gives me anxiety for that reason.

@storminby no, not yet but I'm working on it.
How do they prove it?
Is the 100% rating for vertigo going to be 100% PT or 100% TDUI? How can you ensure you can be employed while getting awarded 100%?
Can you be rated for depression and anxiety or is that lumped together?
It’s lumped into a single mental condition
I have service connect bilateral hearing loss and tinitus got 7 service connects total and the VA still screwing me😩
Can I claim tinnitussecondary To depression or does it have to be depression secondary to tinnitus. ?
I was approved for hearing loss but was given a 0% rating! I var tinnitus and hearing aids! Is there anything I can do to get a higher rating!
Do you help file claims?
Lost my hearing, ringing bad to my left side.was in the military
I retire in less than 2yrs. When is a good time frame to get my info in to your company to start the process?
Around that 2 year mark is the ideal time to begin smartly transitioning. The final year you will be dealing with a whole bunch of stuff not just disability related
@vaclaimsacademy sounds good. I have appointments set up next month for tinnitus, migrains, and gerd. I have some other things to get appointments for, and when I'm done with appointments, I can start the process. I should he done with appointments by the start of the new year. Let's do this.
But what if you’re already 30 percent do I still need a Lexus letter.
Thanks
My pleasure!
My tinnitus has been deferred for ever now
Can you claim sleep apnea if you have a mental health rating already?
Yes as a secondary
I have learned that a vertigo disability rating also Revokes Your Drivers License permanently. Not good if one can still drive.
How can that be?!
I don't have tinnitus service connected and I'm at 80% currently is there a way to claim this and actually get a rating for it?
I guess what I mean is, am I able to use my tinnitus as an added symptom for migraine headaches that ARE service connected
You make it sound like you just send your nexus letter and personal statement with your claim and get approved. I cannot imagine them not scheduling you for a C & P exam?!
The va did not give me a hearing aid I had to buy my own I do have 0% service connected loss in one ear with tinnitus in both
I have a question! I currently have a 10% for tinnitus with 50% for headaches and 70% for depression all connect but I have a 0% rating for hearing loss can I still claim anxiety & depression, as a secondary?
You can only have 1 rated mental health condition. You could only file to have your depression raised from 70% to 100% because it is now worse/ is accompanied by anxiety. Mental health conditions can only go from 70% to 100% an nothing in between.
How did you get 50% headaches? I’m 0% and filing for increase ! Pls assist!
Can I email you about ur 50% headache c&p exam
We need to talk.I have ten percent for each
Is the process the same with getting all this looked at and filing with the BDD program with 180-90 days left in service?
Yes!
Whatif they have given you the hearing aids
This strategy still applies!
do secondary claims mess with the original claim? for example a rating ive had for 14 years . Does it reset the clock and do whole new exams? or just keeps it as an addendum. I was advised by VA Dr to file a secondary claim due to medicines I take ...but i cant trust Drs these days
Do it
It will reopen your file for scrutiny, make sure your ducks are in a row with a solid defense before attempting to take new ground ♟️
So i can add vertigo on top of tinnitus and on top of migraines?
If you have the vertigo Dx, and a nexus letter from a specialist within their scope of practice concurring that it’s “at least as likely as not” that your vertigo was caused by your service connected tinnitus or migraines, yes
@@vaclaimsacademy can your regular primary care doctor (general medicine Dr.) write that nexus for your vertigo or migraines? Or does it have to be a specialist like a nuerologist?
I have a 10% service connected rating. O went to my private doctor and asked get to write a nexus letter to va for me to add Ssd, depression. Insomnia and vertigo. She refused to write a nexus letter and had been my doctor for 15 years?? What else can I do as I know I won’t get approved from the VA without a nexus letter??? I’m depressed and don’t know who to turn to for help??
Can u help me ??
I have a 0% for my hearing loss and 10% for tinnitus. It's really frustrating . I'm still trying to get help on this
Same with me too
Same here shipmate
would I be able to go to my doctor and get diagnosed but not tell him that it's for my claims?
Im on the same page. Getting everything diagnosed but not sure if I should say anything
I go to my private doc. Tip: CVS provide quick diagnosis, paper work. I submit to va for claim
Yes, no tactical advantage in spooking them unnecessarily. Good plan
What kind of diagnosis cvs gives
@@bigtime911 what kind of diagnosis does cvs give ?
Iam 10% for tinnitus and 0% hearing loss service connected. Been denied for migraines and for ptsd. Can you help???
Shooting for vertigo.... let you know in 4 months.
How did it go?
Tinnitus secondary depression, migraines, tmj, Erectile dysfunction, gerd, sleep apnea
How do you follow the general principles of secondary...is it always w a nexus letter

My C and P exam was yesterday and I’m worried I blew it.
Any update?
@@thehuntingparadox2291 Review stage right now. I submitted a lay statement after the exam and I’m planning on submitting a request to view what the examiner put on the DBQ.
Boom
I was told Mineres Disease has no Etiology. Tinnitus is not a cause of Mineres Disease it is a Symptom of Mineres. I have a non SC case of Mineres Disease ( They Lost my In service medical records). Diagnosed outside the VA.
Certain doctors will opine that the inner ear condition of tinnitus could cause the inner ear condition of vertigo, and it’s been won as secondary. As long as a nexus letter is signed by a credible doc it can be granted

@@vaclaimsacademy Thanks for that. Have you ever heard of appeals being granted because a of a decision precedent from another VETS appeal decision.
Thank you for what you are doing here.
@@TheSkipper51 You don’t want to go through the court of appeals, but using the reasoning from the decision outcomes of appeals is a good advanced way to learn more about their playbook

It's hanging wrong. The Union should be ON IT'S OWN RIGHT AS IT IS BEING DISPLAYED. FLIP THE FLAG AROUND. Then, I will give you a like.
You’re selling free and available information to veterans. Making a profit off of veterans like this is sick. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Veterans, do your research. Use the VA m21 manual for all regulations and rules the VA follows. Use the 38 cfr to your advantage. And get a good VSO.
The va need to do a better job educating vets how to submit a fully developed claim and make it ratable to approve for the overworked understaffed claim processors.
@Silent-hs4fh You’re certainly entitled to your confidently incorrect opinion
@@vaclaimsacademy are you accredited?
