For bomb, the way it works is a large wave that pushes out from the center. So the full radius you see is the theoretical max range, but it takes a significant amount of time for the shockwave to actually get out to the edges. I’ve found just targeting an individual with the center of the bomb is the best, because I kept trying to maximize value with the entire radius and it never worked.

The big kudzu build has been a favorite of my friend ever since it showed up. It does so much damage if people get caught up in it, it's insane
Also, the weird gamer drama in the background is icing on the cake. It felt like tuning in to the middle of a soap opera--no context, only beef

Just to say something about the Ivy Ult hit box. It’s a slow expanding circle from the centre outwards. If that makes sense. That’s why the outside of the ult feels so bad, because it takes so long for the damage to get all the way out to the edge. Hope this helps
Ivy's kit is actually pretty good by itself not to mention Ivy doesn't have move spd penalty from combat or shooting either

The only build ive made so far is a psuedo joke build on Paradox, focusing on the scaling speed boost on her 3, i call it Project Blue Rose, its so good for roams though, i reach literally 90mph and get infinite assists

I think wraith sacrificing herself to get all 4 denies on the guardian is actually worth-- the soul swing on that is pretty big, and it basically negates all soul advantage you would have gotten from the guardian, which is bigger than her death. It would have been gravy if she managed to get out so it's good she tried/made yall chase a bit for it, but yeah
Edit: Like, if you look at the souls feed at the top, before the guardian falls, it's 34k-35k, after it falls, 35k-35k, after the 4 souls get denied, 35k-37k, and after the wraith kill, 36k-37k and in a better position to farm that lead out with 3 people deathballed on yellow (though utilizing her death timer to put her more behind does soften that a bit over time)

When you play viscous again you should try stacking spirit and upgrading his 1, it's truly insane the dps you can get with a ton of spirit and multiple bounces

Mast, another option for Ivy is Poshypop's Gun Ivy Buiild, you get a combo of Supporty stuff and a massive amount of Gun Damage to the point where you are oppressively powerful
That’s my go to gun build. It’s super oppressive, especially after you can spam slides during your 2.

The bomb is a shockwave that travels out to the edge from the center, so yeah, primary target being a direct hit makes it much easier, it’s counter intuitive but it’s way more useful if you fly low and drop, don’t have to wait for it to drop, just gotta watch out for cc

With the Ivy build I love staying in my ult and flying in circles throwing bombs, probably not as effective, but defiantly very funny to be a bomber dropping infinate dmg bombs

Yeah i made a similar build that was my own take on Hydrations spirit build. Though its more of a hybrid gun/spirit build since i still get some weapon items and do a combo of bullet and spirit damage.
Ivy's ult is a shockwave that spreads once the bomb hits the ground. That's why it feels so awkward and hard to hit, because even after the delay of it hitting the ground there is another delay of the shockwave spreading to the full radius
Lol literally the first and only game I have on Ivy was a game I customized a version of this build and dropped 59k player damage
The pep talk to Dynamo followed by him immediately getting CC chained, dying, and you hitting him with the "nvm" fucking killed me

Something I've noticed about ivy ult is that it's not an explosion like say, Geist 1. It's a shockwave that spreads out from the center, which is why it seems pretty inconsistent. The shockwave itself is pretty hard to see too so there's practically 0 feedback

I do this with pretty well any character that has a nade, especially if it lingers like maxed geist or dox, though dox does not benefit from a lot of things like duration or burst (technically the amp duration lasts longer but nyeh, not worth a whole T3 dedicated to it. I nkow you don't like gheists gun, but try playing her a similar way to this, just go all in on the nade, shards, and spirit lifesteal. trust, the cd on shards is so low you can pretty much use it as a primary attack. Hell I've even done it with sevens orb for shits and giggles, it just got a nice 1m radius buff at max as well.

It's so horrendous that my friends and I have agreed to play other games until something is done. It's terrible to try and deal with because there's next to no counterplay besides trying to use Knockdown on the Ivy and blowing her up before she can throw a single kudzu down

It's gotten so bad that I've stopped playing for now until something is done, it's way too oppressive and playing against it sucks. Nothing else comes close to how horrible it feels once the enemy Ivy gets a few of those key items and all of a sudden winning a teamfight becomes impossible

this ivy build is stupidly strong, every ivy i see and myself is doing it.
the whole flying part of her ult feels impactful now, because before it was just drop the bomb/ally and then you can uhhhhhhhhhh fly and press 3 if you need to.
now you can fly and drop vines ly crazy and use refresher to ult AGAIN and get your vine charges up AGAIN. best ivy build ever
I can't wait until it gets nerfed to hell, it's way too oppressive and playing against it is pure cancer. There is no counterplay to it, because once she gets to a certain point things go from "just dash out of it" to "guess we all just gotta tank all this damage and deal with the slow/fire rate reduction/spirit resist shred."
Speaking of always feeling like saying "he", that's also a thing with Pocket, who is non binary so uses they them pronouns, but people always default to he him.
