Ich weiß, dass hier ist relativ alt, aber das Bayern = Deutsch kommt daher, dass Bayern (bzw. Süddeutschland) US-Amerikanische Besatzungszone war.
Für das rumschreien habe ich keine Erklärung, allerdings zwei Theorien:
1) Deutsch klingt aus verschiedenen Gründen für andere Ohren sehr aggressiv und rau.
2) Hitler und verschiedene andere bekannte Nazipersönlichkeiten haben bei ihren Reden sehr viel rumgeschrien, das beste Beispiel wäre wohl Göbbels Sportpalastrede.
Das wissen die doch nicht
Die meisten Briten und Amerikaner werden nur mit Deutsch konfrontiert, wenn in Filmen irgendwelche Nazis Befehle brüllen. Wenn man ihnen was Sanftes wie sagen wir mal Rilkes "Oh, gäb's doch Sterne, die nicht bleichen" rezitiert, und dann raten lässt, welche Sprache das gewesen sein könnte, ist Deutsch so ziemlich das letzte, worauf sie kommen.
Das ist so lustig zu zu sehen, wie die Amerikaner sich über deutsche Süßigkeiten freuen, wobei man sowas in Deutschland schon tausend mal gegessen hat.😂

Trotzdem ist es lustig wie die anderen Länder , deutsche Süßigkeiten feiern :D

These things are called "nimm 2 - soft" because there are regular "nimm 2" which are more like hard candy.
They are not always hard. Fresh ones taste better

Der Brausepulver hat seine Geschmacksnerven mit der Blitzkriegtaktik an ihre Grenzen gebracht. Darum sind wir nun hier. Ich habe vorher auch eine Doku über dem 2.WK angeschaut.

It does say "softig" which is either a play on words (combining "saftig" and "soft") or a germanisation of "soft". The intention is to describe the soft consistency of the mice.
By the way, Barry: Süße Mäuse = Sweet Mice. ;)

When I was in 6th or 7th grade up to the 8th grade everyone in my class or everyone in my year was obsessed with the "Ahoi Brause Pulver", that one just exploding in your mouth. But we took it to the next level and sniffed it through our noses. No joke, I think every German kid did this at least once. We literally burned our mucous membranes inside our nose away with it. One of the best childhood memories ever ~ :D

I had toffifee when I went to Germany back in 97, had initially bought them to bring home as a souvenir but erm... yeah they all kinda got eaten before we even left the hotel! so glad we can get them in the UK now!

Mathhias Stas marzipan ist an sich lecker, in christstollen und so mmmh, aber zusammen mit schwarzer schokolade, keine ahnung super ekelhaft, dunkle schokolade allein lecker, marzipan allein lecker, aber diese kombo ist einfach widerlich..und obwohl ich diese niederegger noch nie gesehen oder gegessen habe wusste ich auch schon vom anblick dass es widerlich sein wird und er es ausspucken wird...ist einfach eine scheiß combo.

Toffifee is available in most supermarkets in England and poundland XD . I like them , but i didn't know they are German . I like eating them two at a time like a Toffifee sandwich .

Underberg is actually considered an herbal infused spirit better known as a form of bitters (an addition that people sometimes add a few drops of to other cocktails like a a Manhattan!). The one sweet is called "Nimm 2" then comes the "Soft" not "Nimm Soft 2".
The "Soft" is the sort of "Nimm 2", there are actually different kinds of "Nimm 2".
If you translate the name "Nimm 2" it means "Take two" - no idea, why it's called like that.

Years back (around 25 years?) I remember there where only two flavors orange and lemon. And it was hard candy not soft. The very first TV commercials were about a child who always took one orange and one lemon candy. So there was the name. Nimm 2 = Take 2. With time they got new flavors new sorts like lollipops and soft candy, but the name stayed the same.
It's funny to see someone tasting the stuff you grew up with... I never liked brause though....

So great! As a German I have to say that your friend Thomas picked some great well known German products. When I saw the Ahoi Brause (the powder) I thought I have to comment and give you the advice to try it out with Wodka but then the video just went on and Thomas already suggested it to you. He really nailed it! Will check out your other videos to see what Brits and other countries have to offer! Thumps up!
EDIT: And yes... if some of you wonder why many English videos about German stuff or Germany has so many German comments, it's because many Germans are actually interested in how the rest of the world sees us. I don't want to go to deep into that (you know the reasons - two letters and a 2), but the truth is that 'we' felt undisered for decades and within the last like 10 or 15 years we see that this is not the case anymore and that just makes us happy.

Thorsten000 Wenn ich in einem Buch "süßlicher Leichengeruch" lese kommt mir Marzipan in den Sinn, gibt echt kaum Essen das bei mir soviel Ekel auslöst, krieg schon Brechreiz vom Geruch^^ Als Kind mocht ich es, keine Ahnung warum sich das geändert hat. Die Süße hat für mich so ein ekliges Aroma an sich. Aber Geschmack kann und muss man auch nicht "verstehen", nur sich drüber austauschen^^

You need to try the 'Schüttelkorn' it's a mix with of grain and Ahoibrause. Put the Ahoibrause in your mouth and mix it in there with the grain and shake your had from the left to the right a few times (very quickly). Have fun with that :D

Hey there! Greetings from germany! I really loved watching this video because you are one of the few youtubers to test sweets that I as a german actually know :D
I dont know wheather its a german thing but have you ever tried "Lindt", "Milka" or "Rittersport" chocolate? The three of them are kind of the leading chocolatelables over here and all of them are amazing! I got to say that german chocolate is great anyways... Come and visit Cologne (as we call it: Köln), there is a chocolate museum over here and they have a chocolate fountain and its soooo amazing :D

I've never been to the US but to London. I didn't try sweets there, except one candy bar. It was a Kellog's Frosties / milky bar (no chocolate). That was so delicious!
