I fell in the boating pool aged 3. My grandad gave me a peach stone to go "crabbing". Oh my I am 50 now and still remember going in! A kind couple leapt out of their deckchairs to rescue me as my grandparents ran over. I was like a drowned rat going up in that lift!
Oh Jane, that's a beautiful b&b! I was the same as you. The first thing i noticed was the stair carpet! 🙈😂 wasn't it just lovely! The whole place is tastefully done, & looks spotless like you said. It's definitely one for the list 😊... Thank you for showing us the better places to stay...it's appreciated...hope all is well, your friend Senga xx
Very nice, very posh. Another hotel to add to my ever growing list. I was looking for a hotel for my aunt and uncle to stay when they visit Blackpool in August. I must show them this video and the one you did for By The Seaside on St. Chad's Road. Both very nice. They were looking at another on St. Chad's Road - The Strathdon, but can't find any video reviews yet. Maybe one for the future.
Most do breakfast but not so many do evening meals nowadays. There's such a variety of places to eat that most people prefer to go to different places for their evening meal
@@visitfyldecoast thanks love I thought the wouldn't be but staying in a b and b would be no trouble for me and my son last year we had a week in tiffanys the food was so so terrible all frozen chips every night apart from Wednesday we had a so called roast dinner I joked with my son it would be all frozen which it was frozen roast potatoes frozen Yorkshire frozen veg and sliced meat warmed up in gravy so the Thursday we stayed out and had a meal out it was the best day of the week we went home on the Friday to not a frozen chip in sight

Remember the boating pool as a kid. Would be a big draw today I reckon, can't understand why it was closed. Thanks for sharing memories.
