i don't know how Simon is in person, but what he is like in the documentary series shows how different he is from a lot of other KPOP CEOs and producers. Maybe because he was an idol himself?
the way he take care of these girls, buying presents, writing individual letters, the moment when he said "go have dinner and then you come back"... shows his kindness and that he cares about his trainees as humans, (not as a product as we see in this industry) even though being the path is tough

JURIN姐さんは勝手にずっと完璧だと思ってたから、一人で泣いていたのとか意外だったけど、それを乗り越えたからこそのカリスマ性とか自信が見えるんだなと
今回のHINATAさんのスピーチを聴いて自分がなぜ彼女に惹かれるのか分かった気がします。もちろんその美しさや可愛さ、ダンスに綺麗な歌声も本当に魅力的です。でもそれ以上に惹かれるのは、このスーパー集団の中で、一番感情移入してしまう立ち位置だからかもしれません。練習生当時の彼女は才能溢れるメンバーに囲まれて、劣等感や不安の中で、続けていくことに計り知れない葛藤があったと思います。彼女はその不安や葛藤を器用に周りに吐露できるタイプとは思えません。きっといつも周りに笑顔を振り撒きながら、心の中ではずっと苦しかったのでしょう。しかし彼女は諦めませんでした。彼女のスピーチを聞きながら、現在の彼女を思い浮かべて、涙が止まりませんでした。現代社会で強い人に囲まれながら「普通の人」として生きている自分に、彼女の存在は主人公そのものであり、一番のヒーローです。彼女が流した涙や努力に最大限の敬意を込めて、これからもずっと応援していきます。21際のお誕生日おめでとうございます！

@user-jm2oh1iw3w this is why she lacked confidence at first. She was coming from a small studio near her home dancing against AVEX artist academy students which are on another level. This shows how much Hinata worked her ass off to be able to stand at the same level as them. Her hard work paid off.

Hinata got me crying man. She was just that shy awkward kid with a dream who didn’t believe in herself that much. The training and the other girls really lifted her and helped her become who she is. She has been my bias from the beginning. She has always seemed like the underdog especialt with not really having lines til shooting star era and I just couldn’t wait to see more of her. Even for this documentary I feel like I don’t get to see her as much so I’m so happy to have been able to hear her thoughts and see her personality more this episode ♥️

I think Hinata blew everyone's mind with Shooting Star and Left Right, and know that we all know her true capability, there's no way she'd go back to being overlooked. She's way too good for that, and I hope she believes in herself like the other members and the fans believe in her.

誰も1人では叶えられない夢がXGには有ることが分かる素敵な光景でした。

このXtraXtraというのは、視聴者参加型や台本が存在するものではなく事後公開型のコンテンツだと言うことが、XGという物語に厚みを持たせてくれると思う。10人の些細な幸せそうな表情や感動的なやり取りも、「7人のメンバー」という確定した終わりの訪れが頭にあると、メタ的な哀愁抜きには見られない。
しかし一方で、この物語の持つダイナミズムが強烈かつリアルだから、現在形でこの10人が練習生として生活してるのではないかという、メタとは真逆の妙な没入感を覚えたりもする。
XGというグループの今後の展開は間違いなく刮目すべき事だと思うけど、コンテンツとして、そしてそれを作る側の人間にとって大きな価値を持つのは、XGが生み出されるまでの膨大な過程の記録の方でもあると思う。残りのシリーズが超楽しみ😊

今でも絵文字や自分で書くキャラクターが大好きな宇宙人👽なのは、Kep1erが宇宙コンセプトだからだってずっと思ってたけど、もっと前から好きだったものなんだってヒカルを遡っていって知ったこと。
言葉にするのが苦手そうなヒナタがみんなの前で懸命に話したり、言葉の前に出てくる涙にグッとくる。1番のビジュアルになったのも本当にすごいな

Cocona is on another level. The swag and confidence she had at the age of 13. It's not normal. She is the only one Simon said thank you for trusting me and following me. The way she rapped at 40:52 is insane. I loved the episode but I wish there was more of the dancing and signing part of it. Maybe on the other episodes there will be.
Cocona is definitely beyond talented, but it can also means she take criticisms and directions well to further improve herself, opposite from Chisa as Simon said she get scolded the most and had the tendency to make excuses...lol

His formula is working is he just keeps u[ with the catchy songs, amazing style, unforgettable choreo, smooth vocals, and everything else. We just need a full album and a world tour!

ひかるちゃんは中学校を卒業してすぐ福岡から１人で上京してXGALXに合流したのがちょうど誕生日だったんだよね。１３才でこれだけ歌が上手いんだから今はかなり上手いんだろうね。一回本気で歌うのを聴いてみたいな🤗

honestly, Simon had the right idea to form the group when they are young. He had the right call to create a iron will to see that they aren't here to play but to dominate. shaping and preparing them with the skills, the ability to work out individual and group based performances both dance and vocally. forming and forging a bond between the team before their debut. as challenging each day was for them, they learn that the world out here isn't as kind nor easy to be. thank you to X-Galaxy, XG, Simon and each candidate to BTS crew who help to form an ideal group that knows how to portray genuine vulnerabilities and confident individuals.
