I think someone opened the screen protector package before you. There is suppose to be a frame to put on your phone so it is easier to put on the screen protector. Then, you can take the frame off once the protector is on properly! But there isn’t one there so you should look into that!
it depends on the brand you get, some brands don't include a frame and some brands do. the brand she used did not come with a frame and they don't include frames so it wasn't opened anytime prior. it just never came with one
