I can't believe I found this video. I'm in the studio audience at 57:06 with my grandparents. I'm on the end of the row was 12 years old. Cathy Lee Crosby, she shook my hand at 57:33. They had a person who would tell the audience when to clap they had to shoot sometimes 2-3 times over. We were clapping like crazy I was tired of it wanted to get out of there.
I wrote a letter when I was 10, that they read on air. I received a case of their books and an autographed photo of each host. Was a big deal to me at the time.
This series ran right up to the time we got cable. Living in the Twin Cities, this show would come on at 7, followed by some MNFootball. Sure, Tuesday mornings were tough after staying up late, but what he heck.
There were promos for the Greatest American Hero in the Fall Guy, both of these shows had theme songs on the Billboard Record Charts. Believe it or not peaked at number 3.
57:50 The ABC News Brief with Ted Koppel was from ABC's then-new Washington bureau studio, which had been introduced by Frank Reynolds earlier that evening on World News Tonight .
As I was born 1/2 blind I related a lot to that girl who was a blind pianist, although in my memory banks I thought it was a blind boy all these years. But that has to be it. Inspired me because I could easily have been blind but was lucky not to be, and I was always called "gifted at the piano" like that, played ear like that, etc. Good to see again. Thank you That's Incredible and Satauna "Taunnie" Howery
I was 11 years old when this aired. The That's Incredible film crew never came by my house to document my incredibleness. I was effectively cancelled and now you've never even heard of me. Pole climbing kid and matador dude have gone on to have lucrative careers and full, rich lives. Thanks for NOTHING, Fran Tarkenton! 😡
I remember the one where the guy took a bullet in the mouth! He had a metal cup or something and someone fired point point at his mouth and he caught it! I remember being terrified watching it! That's Incredible!😀
There were a few second-generation figures in those end credits. Besides Jerry Kupcinet (Irv's son, hence a Chicago connection which makes this valid), there was one of the associate producers, Suzanne LaCock, who was the daughter of longtime (original) "Hollywood Squares" host Peter Marshall, and niece of actress Joanne Dru.
@@Ripplin I got it backwards, it wasn't That's Incredible it was Real People. I watched an episode of that's incredible on UA-cam Friday in the very next video was from the Real People Channel. ua-cam.com/video/L8CHuhKNdc8/v-deo.html
In fact, I seen this episode when I was 12 or 13 and seem to recall their was more camera on her bralessness than what is seen here. I think it’s been edited out unfortunately
I am CURIOUS as to how the money donated will help and how it will be used when you can probably get 90% of the TV shows on you tube or torrent? and I probably have a ton of the shows as well ;-)
Hi Kelly - to clarify - we work to preserve *broadcast recordings* that were made from television. That means specific moments in time when a TV show or movie aired, complete with all the original commercials, promos and anything else that happened. Many people prefer to watch these rather than "remastered" official releases of shows which, as you correctly noted, can be obtained from many different places. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks. :-)
Does anyone know if the That's Incredible show is on youtube where that little boy perform's magic tricks and kisses his peraents---I think it's his dad, or maybe his parents kiss. his parents gave it to him some kid of waqy. Maybe it's magic tricks his parents taught him.
Likely so. Vikings vs. Broncos on MNF that evening. East/Central Time Zone affiliates would have taken That's Incredible followed by MNF, which would have started at 9PM ET/8PM CT/7PM MT/6PM PT. KABC's practice at one time was to schedule the primetime lead ins for 10PM PT. Which would have meant that That's Incredible would have likely aired either immediately after the game, or at 10PM PT.
Yep. That's the usual protocol when airing live sporting events. Nowadays, despite starting at 5PM PT, there's still network filler at 10PM. Most times, you'd get an episode of 20/20 or an hour-long edition of Nightline.
They'd have a local show after _Monday Night Football_ for years. In 1998, _MNF_ was pushed up an hour, which caused ratings to drop. That year, KABC would program a movie after the game. @@jsb1980
Weird show, and three of the weirdest looking people you could have in the same room. Until they appeared together, I always thought John Davidson and Cathy Lee Crosby were the same person.
Why? The format? The hosts? The stage set? All of it? I will say this; it doesn't hold up to the test of time, and only serves as a piece of nostalgia, from a bygone era. There's nothing 'incredible' about much of it. Certainly not by today's standards.

I loved this show as a kid!!! Super wholesome and of course “incredible”!!! Back when most television was classy and family friendly…
I wrote a letter when I was 10, that they read on air. I received a case of their books and an autographed photo of each host. Was a big deal to me at the time.
I remember this show. We used to watch it. Real People, too on NBC.
I was just trying to remember the name of that one! I always used to get it confused with That's Incredible.
Same here..
Wow! that'd be something if footage of real people was found from a bay area NBC Affilliate
Loved that show!
Real People People! lol! Yess
Thats what I love about UA-cam, you can go back in time anytime you want. I used to love me some Cathy Lee Crosby.

I got every episode of both.
I used to drink Olympia Gold, it was brutal

That kid at the first climbed the pole like a beast! That's Incredible!😛
Love this!!! Brings back memories
I was hoping this was the episode that featured Tiger Woods as a kid. The commercials were still fun to watch. I remember most of them!

Gosh. Memories....I was starting High School. I was a freshman at Rancocas Valley.
I remember watching That's Incredible when Fran Tarkenton interviewed some 5 yr old golf prodigy kid named Tiger Woods....wonder what became of him.
Most recently he almost killed himself in a high speed car accident....
He cheated on his wife and crashed his car.

19:03 What are _you_ complaining about, lady? In 2021 it's more than $3 for just the hamburger alone! LOL!
A combo meal at Wendy's is over $11.
Does anybody remember the episode where they introduced laser-sights for aiming firearms? They shot a rifle in the studio to demonstrate it!
I remember the one where the guy took a bullet in the mouth! He had a metal cup or something and someone fired point point at his mouth and he caught it! I remember being terrified watching it! That's Incredible!😀
I was quite young when this was on, but I never forgot it, especially the episode about the mountain man with the parasitic twin. :p
--- the best part of this episode is the guy in the audience wearing a Van Halen shirt!
I thought the same thing.
Van who??
Sometimes, I am truly amazed at what we watched (and loved) back then.
Way better times than todays it seems.
They need to reboot this
I found you! The union 76 jill commercial with premium unleaded
44:26 - Best moment in the history of the show.

This is so weird, that's incredible has their own UA-cam channel where they post clips from the show. I found it Friday.
Didn't realize that. Thanks for mentioning it. :)
Hmm, I can find lots of random clips from random channels, but not one specific one. What's the one you found?

I vaguely remember watching this show back in the day.
@The big man is in the house! I recall it airing on Monday evenings, because I frequently missed it to attend Boy Scouts.

ALMOST !!! $ 3 dollars for a burger, fries and a shake. Today it's more than $3 dollars for just a burger
Yes, and $5 to $6 for a fast food burger in Canada

Better than that Desperate Housewives and The Bachelor/Bachelorette crap.
