agree. I have taken on learning 'Soldier Boy'. I plan to sing with an elder and his son. I guess I am a canary. Let me tell you I am proud to be a canary. The Remembrance day event in calgary. We will performing it. On November 8th. Its not on the Nov 11th main event. But nov 8th is more the indigenous part. The raising of the flag at sunrise and lowering at sunset. Two performances. I want to honor all the indigenous soldiers that went to residential school. Also, the 215 babies found more now. All residential survivors. As my mom went to residential school. My mom and I had an uncle, Private Patrick Eagle Child. Cape Breton Highlanders. The thing about it is. I never have sung a indigenous song or even understood it. I had my face painted to start me on this venture. So I have three months to learn and practice. But I am learning from the best. Wish me luck. I am being sent on this by the children and my ancestors and Our Great Creator. Because i don't how I came up with this idea. I am also having a little 8 year dance for the heart of the babies lost. So here I go! 💖

Have always admired and respected Blacklodge Singers, we sing a number of their songs when we go to Pow Wow's. They may not sing the highest or the loudest but to me their songs are gifts to the people. I enjoy hearing them sing and anytime we sing one of their songs it is always with good feelings, honor and respect! Thank you Kenny Scabbyrobe and Thank you BlackLodge Singers!

@@jo-annedan4295 This is good. Offer your tobacco to Grandfathers of the four directions and to the above, below and inner direction. To our Mother and Creation, ask them all for guidance to make good choices and walk a good road. I hope things go well for you. Take care!
