Thank you ! I did a slip stitch all around first then stitched onto that so the holes are covered :)

I hope this helped a bit! Another way to hide the holes is to cast on how I show, and then for the first round do a single crochet back bar only.

They both look great in my opinion, but tshirt yarn is easier to work with and not quite so hard on the hands.
