Great video, well said, I suffer with tinnitus, brought on by shooting wild game without hearing protection, trust me its not the best thing to have going on in your life!!!!
@@rossrosco9423it can be reactive but generally doesn’t actually get worse, at least the data doesn’t suggest it. Only your perception of it, which should go down in time regardless of pitch.
Thanks for the video! Very important theme, and also often forgotten and underrated by many people... The electronics external are my favourites, I'm got used to wear them always when hunting, is possible to have a conversation and they get rid off shoots perfectly. Greetings from Spain
Great to see you other side of the camera Alex. You're a great bloke and we've chatted at Long Siberia bisley before. Hope to see you and David at the shooting show! Great videos, both of you.
got the Howard Leights for my 2nd time shooting. They didnt seal properly and lead to a very uncomfortable day of shooting. Hopefully the brand u showed in the video provide a good seal.
What are the best shooting glasses to wear with Swatcom ear defenders, which do not compromise the operational performance of the ear defenders? ( ie. disrupting the sound seal with gel inserts)
Pretty sure am going to buy active8 in couple of weeks. Neck or headband for comfort and practiclity? Btw I think carbon is the colour. I don't think those are made of carbon fibre as price is the same. Less colours in the neckband one and I kinda want the carbon colour one
I hate that tap you get from the stock meeting the ear cup, as a pigeon and game shooter myself, also an instructor, I now use Cens, brilliant, the moulding process is not pleasant, but, they are just so convenient, no little annoying clonk on a stock anymore, no wonder the big man uses them.

Me too, ever since someone fired a blank .303 round behind my head. Has got worse over the years unfortunately!

Big fan of Howard Leights with aftermarket Gel cups as they seal much better, helmet mounted ear pro is also very good

Laksen do a great pair! Super thin and no effect to the swatcoms
