I was in the same state as she was after my 12th , in COVID my 11th was almost wasted I was not even in condition of clearing mains but in 12th i worked my ass off and managed anyhow to secure abt 47k rank and just cleared jee adv which was a task for me back then
I just wanted to go to IIT so decided to take a year drop , was lucky enough that my parents supported too . I definitely improved myself but not up to the mark still qualified but could not make it to IIT never thought I would be saying this at the end of my drop year , literally really sad abt that but I am satisfied with the fact that I didn't give up i worked extremely hard in my drop year though the result is not in favour but that's the core of life not always things will go as you would have thought , may be joining some NITs or something. Well it doesn't feel like to go to college anymore as I had always dreamt for IITs but let's see what happens , it will require sometime for me to move on .
3 years of hardword , sacrifices , parents' struggles for what , for letting you know that you were not good enough for your dreams 😞 .
Definitely not the end . Down but not lost .....
It’s okay life happens you can still make good carrier. NITs are also not bad. Knowledge never goes waste

i don't know why but half story of her is related to me..
i completed my 12th this year and also gave jee my mains rank is 156k and i wanted to take a drop but now due to increasing competetion and one session late my parents aren't supporting me .I was just so demotivated by the fact that thet aren't allowing me by saying ki nhi hoga tumhara iit me nit bhi itna acha tumhe mil hi nhi payega ,I dont know what to do now i am getting admission in a private college of my state which is like second best private college of the state mp but I don't want that my parents are just satisfied if i go there but i don't think i'll be satisfied by that where my friends are taking drop and go to a better college and get a better pear while i be here .I am convincing my parents for a drop but they are just considering as a waste .I just don't know what to do now
Take a partial drop. This is the best option without upsetting you parents. Only con is that you'll have to work extra hard cause then you have to manage both college and jee prep
Bro work your ass off in the college you are getting. Drop year adds a lot of unnecessary pressure. Remember whichever I repeat whichever college you are in there will always exist a better college and college life is always such that one forgets these barriers of not being into iits. So bro, you should work very hard in the private college you are getting. Make a good LinkedIn profile, do internships and earn a good life for yourself. What kind of dream is it to study in an engineering college? You must have dreamt something big, right? So rediscover your dreams and work on them

To ye hua tha ki unne mana krdii thi fr usne apne aap se pw ka subscription lia aur preparation start ki August me aur din raat bhai like she has 25 hrs in a day esa pdha bs dinbhr raat bhr pdhna sirf khane ke lie uthna and for only basic things ke uthna dinbhar pdhti thi itna potential tha ..yeh dekhkar uske parents ko lga ki ye krpegi abhi usne councelling krlii thi state ki for partial drop ke lie clg ho ek so uska clg oct me open hue pr tb tk usne ghr pr boht jmke pdha fr clg khulne pr bhi bo bs oct me 10-12 din gai bahan bhi jake pdhna revision krna ...fr ese hi nov dec nikal gye aur jan me jee aya .
And u can't belive she got only 27 percentile in 12th but now she got 99.78 percentile. Yes it's true due to her hardwork...fr usne koi prep ni ki advanced ki use bs Nit chaiye tha islie ...
So ese hi bolne se parents ni mante jb tk unhe dikhe na ki tum krskte ho .islie abhi se pdho aur dikhao unhe aur ni mane tbbhi pdho admission to bese bhi loge hi pr pdhne pr esa h ki jan attempt deke number aajye ache to drop krdena clg ni to continue krlena 😊😊

You are doing PhD in Chemistry, but regret for not doing jee prep. to do engeneering from IIT. That means you don't love your Subject, You are promoting engeneering just to live in an awesome campus and said like only cowerd, frightened log pure scince(Bsc) karte hein. Agar sob log engeneering hi Kare toh engeneering college mein math, phy, chem parhaiga Kaun, research Kaun karega aur scientist Kaun banega pure field mein. Don't fantasize things, everyone should opt for different fields.
