Hi Donald. Thankyou for this video. The bird we saw here must be this kite . We thought at first that what we saw could be some kind of owl in broad daylight. It was diving in and out the long veldgrass looking and maybe finding prey. Was living in a very big and tall bluegum tree but we haven't seen it for a few days now . There are quite a few crows and everytime a crow flew over that tree this bird would fly with it for a while before returning to the tree .

Glad you enjoyed it. The black winged Kite is not a big bird but it is quite fast on the wing. I have seen them doing the same in our garden.
