Ten News Promo - Melbourne (2008)

In 2008, Ten launched these news promos into each city, and this is the Melbourne version. It includes shots of the Melbourne news team (Mal Walden and Helen Kapalos) as well as the national presenters.
The problem with the promos is that not long after they were introduced, Ten relaunched with a new logo and new sets, making most of this out of date. But it continued to air here in Melbourne until January 2009.

Well this is a distant memory... To think, Ten News was actually so good around this 2007-2010 era!

Such a pity Network Ten has fallen from grace presenting only one 1 hour news bulletin everyday at 5pm due to budget cuts caused by a lack of audience share.
