They've been solid. One of the first shoes from Reebok in a few years that I think will be the move for a vast majority of lifters/athletes, especially generalists!
Jake, I bought these based on your video🎉 great job. I did, however find the arch and mid foot too tight - really bugged me. So they are going back. Any recommendations for a low arch and wide mid and toe box?
Just want to thank you for all your videos. I have an extremely high arch, a bit wide and I’m older so getting the right shoes is a bigger deal for me. In the past trying to find the right shoes for workouts was challenging. Since finding your videos that all changed. I never buy a new pair without checking out your reviews.
Good idea! These are a little more dense feeling, but not so much where they're offputting like running in the FM6 vs Metcon 9. These also have a wider fit through the forefoot
NIce Video. For someone who goes to the gym 4 times a week, deadlifts, squats, and walks for 45 mins on treadmill, are these worth getting? I dont like super bouncy feeling shoes...
Hi Jake, I've finally received my Nano X5 and compared to the X4, they run shorter. It is the black&rubber version. I don't know if there is any difference in size between color but this 11.5 black version runs half size or complete size shorter than the X4 in same size. I have previously ordered the same color as yours but finally out of stock so I can't compared with your white/blue/red version. I don't know if I order half size bigger or complete size cause I don't have big feet with a lot a volume but just medium feet. Width is just ok here, I need to try bigger size. X4 was a tad roomier in the forefoot area (in volume, not width) in my size 11.5 but I felt too much the arch in the midfoot area with this TPU plastic piece around the midfoot. In these X5 it seems way better.
@@dimep.7232 interesting! We have completely different interpretations here. The nano X4 were wicked unbearable for my forefoot comparatively speaking 😂 Keep me posted on what you do
@@thatfitfriend I've just ordered half size up to compare. It is my big toe which is longer (Egyptian foot). With the X4 I've tried size 11 and 11.5: forefoot was very tight in size 11 (normally my regular size except for Nike or other brand which run small) so I went half size up 11.5 and way roomier and comfortable. I went same size 11.5 with the X5 but same story except this time the issue is 11.5 feels like X4 size 11. So I have to size up again... I will try size 12 for the first time 😅. I keep you in touch. This time I've ordered the same color as yours 👍
Really looking forward to trying these out! I loved the general look and feel of the x4‘s, unfortunately they were a little too tight for my feet. So hearing that this model should fit me better really excites me. Will January 24th be a worldwide release though or only in the US? On the American Reebok website the shoe is already in the shop as „coming soon“ while the European website doesn’t show anything regarding the X5
TYR if you want something more lifting biased. If you're also just wanting a change, worth a try imo Nano if your gym is a little more versatile/running with their focus
Love the review! I’m Having trouble deciding what shoes I want to get next. I really like the feel of a low profile shoe like a cleat. Do you have any recommendations?
Hi Jake, amazing review as always. My Nano X3s are a UK Size 12 (US 13) and fit well. With the wider fit here, would you still say I should stay the same size for the change to the X5s?
Hi Jake, thanks for this nice review! I've just tried the X4 and had some trouble with sizing: TTS feels too snug, particularly at the forefoot and half size bigger was tad long and way roomier (I've tried 11 and 11.5). I'd like to try the X5 to compare but I don't know if I can stay TTS or need to go up a half size bigger such as the X4.
Thanks Jake! I've just tried again the X4 and size 11 was definitely too snug and a bit short lengthwise. 11.5 was roomier at forefoot, but still snug at the midfoot area (arch and TPU). I think I would stay 11.5 for the X5. I hope they are not too wide for my medium feet.
Looking at purchasing between Dropset 3, Metcon 9, and Nano X4 (X5 not yet in my country)...casual lifter and does a lot of treadmill walking too...any opinion on what to get? Looks and color is a big factor too haha! Btw love your channel, was set on getting the metcons but decided to watch more of your reviews so here I am
I'd wait for Nano X5. Should drop this week in most countries. They'll feel the best for the treadmill walking ask. Dropset 3 would be my second pick. Metcon last. Thanks for checking out the videos!
I was looking into either a vivo or a xero shoe that would work well for daily walking and hiit as well as having traction and durability for football and basketball. Do you have any ideas which one(s) could work?
Baller move by R.A.D., dropping the V2 the day before these are available. 😂 Will certainly be interested in a head-to-head comparison between the two.

Bit different feel. These will feel a little lighter on the feet with a softer midsole!

European is likely backed up. Seems that other companies are experiencing this, too!
Jake what’s your personal favourite Nano model?
To date, I've really enjoyed the 6, X, and now X5
Would you recommend these or the TYRs for crossfit? I've been using the nanos since the beginning but haven't liked the fit on the last 2 models

I haven't used them because I don't like how they look! I've heard good things, tho.
Can you feel that plastic stability piece? I found the X4 I could feel that discomfort when laced up snug.
I haven't noticed it! Feels much less aggressive than the LAR in the X3/X4
