Hi, I am unable to remove msa , after clicking on revoke, it shows couldn't revoke authorisation. any ideas ?
That's why he mentioned it might take up to eight times because the first times it might not work. Personally on my second or third try it worked, just keep pushing the button till it lets you
There are still adds when I download something from google

hello sir after disabling the ads will the ads be permanently remove? or it will just lessen??
The ads would be permanently disabled if all the steps are followed, though I'm not sure if that would change in future MIUI software updates. But so far it hasn't happened.😊

But it's good that you can turn them off! Then the people who don't turn them off are subsidizing YOUR device by watching the ads!

Apple buys the iPhone for $300 and sells it for $1,500 and when you need help, their overpriced service centers will always charge you much more than any other independent phone repairers.
By the way, the Taiwanese factory that makes the iPhones in India just days a go got destroyed by its employees because they were underpaid or NOT paid at all which means SLAVERY WORK!

I'm considering buying the Poco X3, but saw that there is potential for all these ads being allowed on the phone. I guess the old saying is true if its too good to be true then it is. At least with your video, you can work around the ads. But now I'm worried about ordering a Xiaomi phone.

open your file manager then go to its configuration menu > about , deactivate the recommendations there too :)

Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, the long screenshot feature in MIUI works only in a few apps, and doesn't work on many mainstream apps like Chrome.

After turning off the MSA, will it be turn on automatically in the future? Any problem turning off the MSA after that?
I don't think it will, as mine has been off on other MIUI devices I've had for months now even after several updates, although I'm not sure if that may change in the future. Haven't encountered a single issue after disabling MSA, and no ads were to be seen. Hope this helps! 😃

Hi, in my opinion, as long as you're not using Xiaomi's apps, it won't be an issue at all. Before knowing how to disable ads, they didn't really bother me as I rarely use Mi applications. Hope this helps!

Can you show how to turn off sound click on keyboard?
In text message keyboard there is small Setting Icon button press it, then go to the (Preferences) scroll down In Key Press section turn off button Sound on Key Press. Hope this will help you.

i tried 30 time revoke msa on my xiaomi mi max 2 and it doesn't work. If there is no internet connection it won't able to toggle the button at all also. So ya your method doesn't work on my phone
Hi, sadly, the best you could do is to keep on trying to revoke msa on different occasions, as I've heard of cases similar to yours, only to work after numerous tries. It would also be good to note that msa can only be revoked with an active internet connection. Hope this helps!

Hi, is there an option in the Themes App that says either turn off ads or receive recommendations? If there is, please do try toggling it to disable the ads. Thanks!
The fact the a brand-new, full-paid phone comes with built-in ads right out of the box is utterly offensive and downright disrespectful towards consumers. But is not as preposterous as all the complex and ridiculous maneuvers one has to endure in order to partly disable the spamming amount of vicious, useless apps. Having said this, Google shoud stop giving away Android licences to just any phone manufacturer and start advocating for user's privacy for once.
well, when a company sells their phones for no or near no profit so it is cheap, I think they have a right to ad ads in their phone. Although, you have a fair point saying that it should be easier to deactivate the ads. Also, google won't do that, google is one of the worst when it comes to privacy.

Oh, it could be due to a MIUI update that resets and trigger the ads. May I know in which apps you see ads from?

I'd previous brought several of Xiaomi phones for my family, so was excited about the X3 as it will make a good xmas present for the wife..
Literally F.U. Xiaomi... You're trying to monetise every action a user does on a phone that they OWN, if you're not covering the costs, then raise the bloody prices!
Raise the prices? What the fuck?! This way they even get money after the phones stop selling being able to provide updates. Also they can sell these for much lower prices.
And this is how you kill company producing cheap but great products.
ZZZzzzzz.... What the!! Really. You lost me just after switching phone on! Anyway it won't work on UK version phones. The menus are slightly different. We are their cash cow. Asia, Far East just have one toggle on their phones ads on or off. No doubt it's religious or something from Govts there. Here no chance. We need that here. Yeah, if ever.
Oh, it did work on some UK version MIUI devices I've had for myself though. And yes, I quite agree that Xiaomi tends to change their menus to make it harder to toggle ads off.
