Can you elaborate a bit on the prescribed displacement? where do the values -1 & 0.01 come from? or are we allowed to use the values given in the software?
The concept is boundaries of the model should taken sufficiently far away to avaoid direct influence of boundary conditions.so its ur judgement how much u take geometry in x direction and y direction. It doesnt effect overall results only properties matters. I think thats what u wanted to ask...

Yes it can be done with crumb rubble footing as well.. i may make a video on that in future
What do you think about using Itasca’s Flac for the same analysis instead of Plaxis?
Flac is more credible than plaxis. I will try to upload tutorials in future.
