As Titanic embarked on its maiden voyage from Southampton on April 10 1912, it drew large crowds. The ship was carrying a total of 2,240 passengers and crew. Unfortunately, just five days later, on April 15, the ship collided with an iceberg and sank to the bottom of the ocean. The tragic incident led to the loss of more than 1,500 lives. Over the years, theories about how and why Titanic sank have varied, and the incident has been the subject of both plausible and wild conspiracy theories and not everyone thinks it was as clear cut as the ship hitting an iceberg and sinking. In this video we countdown the theories from the official narrative to the downright outrageous and yes Aliens are involved. But where in the timeline will they fit in? Let’s find out.

I find it really spooky that Morgan Robertson's book the Titan has alot of creepy coincidences in regards to the actual Titanic Diaster.
Random fact: The image shown at 0:11 is often called "the first known case of Photoshop" due to the names of the tugboats being etched out in every single frame. This was done because these were actually tugboats from the New York harbor assisting the Olympic. The guy that did it needed to pass the footage off as Titanic so he scratched out the names of the tugboats, being that Titanic never made it to New York and therefore it wouldn't be possible for those boats and the Titanic to be shot together. And, out of all the footage in this entire video, 2:12 is the only known footage of Titanic and it was taken before the enclosure was added to the A-deck promenade. What's shown at 2:12 is shown multiple times in the video, so that's not exactly the only time it appears, but it is still the only footage used that is Titanic. The rest is the Olympic. The two ships (along with the third sister, the Britannic, which also sank) are actually quite easy to tell apart. Still yet, I can see how a person that didn't know too much about the Olympic class liners could easily fall for the Titanic/Olympic "switcheroo" theory, especially since so much footage of the Olympic is used in videos regarding the Titanic. Regardless, it is definitely the RMS Titanic sitting at the bottom of the North Atlantic and there was never a switch, though I will admit that there was a split second where I almost fell for it myself a couple of decades or so ago due to how well laid out the conspiracy theory is on the surface. Thankfully, once you really get dig into it, the entire theory falls apart.
I guess because film was so new and janky nobody asked about the wiggly white stripe over the tug boat names.

I think that like most stories of today, the ship went through a triangle, entered a black hole then an alien portal and just as they exited BAM right into an iceberg.

Thank you for the update, Top5s..!! I heard the wreckage of the Titanic at the bottom of the ocean disappeared overnight a couple of years back, similar to the giant wreck of sunken WW2 warships that disappeared overnight near Indonesia.
I believe JP Morgan had something to do with it. I watched a biography on him and he would sell his own mom out if it meant he would get ahead

If they did they went to great lengths to make the switch since dives have found Titanic's serial number on the propeller. Where nobody would ever see it.

The clips of the ship at the beginning are actually of the Olympic, Titanic's sister. Plus, White Star line never billed the ship as being unsinkable, that was the papers and the public

Elon Musk doesn't find out what's going on at Tesla by reading The New York Times. One of the many Titanic TV documentaries brought rivets from the wreck to a metallurgist and one third of them had impurities.

The coal bunker the fire was in was further back down the ship a bit. The streak in the photo is exactly that: a streak. Oddly enough, the coal played a major part in allowing her to sink with an even keel instead of capsizing.

1. The Iceberg was seen towering over the ship by multiple people.
2. Olympic and Titanic while being sisters had several differences. For instance the Turkish Bath was a completely different layout and the one at the bottom of the sea has the Titanic layout.
3. Now the murder one is interesting! Far too elaborate of a plan and they had no guarantee the trio mentioned wouldn't have gotten off the ship.

The author of the Titan book said he drew on his knowledge of the ship industry to create his scenario. So it wasn't psychic power, it was just intelligent foresight.

I had never heard the alien theory before 👽🤯 Definitely Aliens though.
What made the book shown at 3:58 hardest to take seriously was the fact that he used the Olympic on the cover, not the Titanic. They were seemingly identical to anyone that didn't know a whole lot about them, but the forward end of the A-deck promenade was enclosed on the Titanic and not fully open from end-to-end like her older sister, the Olympic. The two sister ships actually had quite a few differences that made them easy to discern from one another.

Before it left Liverpool there was visible structure damage from a fire in engine room. It was bad idea to leave port, and it's very silly they hit an iceberg with a whole ocean and more than a couple people to see it before a problem could happen. Probably insurance scam or suicidal captain?
Plus, it could stay afloat if 5 of the water tight compartments were sabotaged, not 4

I like the submarine attack theroy. Many early German U-boat captains mistook large passenger liners for foreign cargo ships.

Thank you. That was a very comprehensive listing of theories. I had heard one or two before but many were new to me. I, myself, am not easily given to conspiracy theories so I doubt any are true.
In the last 40 years -- almost as a reaction to the expansion of knowledge available owing to the internet -- I've watched people become increasingly cynical, paranoid and 'conspiracy prone' and I believe it is due to trying to assimilate the amount of knowledge suddenly available to them. Fortunately, I remember what it was like before the internet. There were still conspiracy theories but there was a LOT more effort put in to verification and fact checking. Real evidence was more important than mere theories. Most theories then required something like 6 to 10 points of irrefutable evidence (i.e., that could not be explained in some other way) before any theory was taken seriously. Now, it seems, only 2-3 points are needed even when those points could be otherwise explained.
IMO, as with most disasters, the sinking of the Titanic was a series of unfortunate events. I do believe Morgan Robertson foresaw the sinking. That's actually not as unusual as you may think. I have often had prescient dreams that came true as well as vague feelings that proved true. It's not that unusual, especially if you meditate regularly.

The time travelers theory only makes sense if the time travelers were from the FUTURE and someone on board became someone even more deplorable than hitler. This was a tragedy that (according to all the jp Morgan related theories) took out a lot of influential “top dogs”. One of those according to this theory would have been monsters or their lineage. Maybe one of their potential future descendants was awful? Idk some of these theories make sense other than the time travelers/aliens

Mr Ballen did a short about how an officer on the ship was given another assignment the day before the ship left port. The officer wasn't happy and quickly grabbed his belongings and left. When he went home he noticed he forgot to turn in a key. The key was to the box that held the binoculars for the crows nest.

I don’t know if it’s your voice or the production quality, but I can’t stand more than 30 seconds with you narrating any video on this channel. I have to turn the volume up 30-50% higher just to try and make out what TF you’re saying, then still can’t hear or make out anything intelligible through your low droning voice and end up stopping the video.
