This is me making an ASAP Rocky type beat in FL Studio. This beat has a simple piano melody I made from scratch. I added some Memphis-style vocals and other melodies as well. I can definitely hear A$AP Rocky on this, but maybe also 21 Savage? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Bro your intuition is insane. There would be so many times you would play a sample or a loop and I'd raise an eyebrow, but you'd make it work seamlessly with the beat only a few moments later. This has got to be the product of endless trial and error. I gotta honestly experiment more in my own beats.
