I love this mix so much!! A lot of the mixes of this song on UA-cam are groovy but were clearly not made by musicians! All the parts that you mixed and matched really go together nicely - all the harmonies fit the chords and all that :)
I Enjoyed The Bits You Pasted Over One Another, Maybe I Am Some What Biased But The Sequencing Of The "Sections" Mix From The "1968 The 20/20 Sessions" Album Is Too Definitive It Makes Sequencing's Like This One Sound A Bit "Un-Natural" To MY Ear Now (That Is A PERSONAL OPINION). The Section With Those Long, Ghostly Harmonies Works Much Better As A BRIDGE Than As The INTRO Like It Is Used Here Because The Song Needs To Establish It's High Energy ASAP! I Would Love To Hear A Mix Where You Take All Those CRAZY Layers Of Piano Accompament That Brian Stacks Up Fugue Style On The Second Half Of "Wind Chimes - Version 2 Tag" And Paste Them In To This Song As It Sounds To Me Like It Would Work Perfect With "Wind Chimes" Bass Line He Used Here. Though I WILL Expect A Songwriting Credit Of Course, Should You Choose To Heed My Advice Just Joshing Best Regards, Doug Glancy
For hard-core beach boys fans, this is really the holy grail... is for me at least. The mix on the Good Vibrations box set is where I first heard it.
Should have been plucked for one of subsequent albums. I think it would have fit nicely on Friends.
I love the association between the film and the music, both have a long production story !
I think this is the best mix on UA-cam yet. I like the inclusion of the concept art of The thief and the Cobbler.
Real ones remember when this was the "Single Mix." 😤
This may well now be my go-to version of the song.
Great work, it all has sense as a song, one of the best mixes I've heard.
chachi guitar ;)

I am glad I have never heard the mixes, of which you speak. There are many around of many artists.

This is the one
I'll always wonder how Brian lost interest in this amazing piece of music.
And coincidentally, re-watched "Thief and the Cobbler" two nights ago!
Love it❤
Brilliant
Do you have a Flac or MP3 I’d love a copy please!
Where’s the painting from?
It's concept art for the film 'The Thief and the Cobbler'.
@@eddietheamateur2716 Thanks
