I listened every frickin' day to this show. I miss it dearly. McCord is a great writer. The cast were all spot on with comedy. Never over acted. Every little sound in the right place. I wish Larry would have gone in to how he'd climb up on that table and check that turkey with his meat thermometer.
I use to run into Don Imus when ever i was up to NBS @ 30 Rock he was a great & funny guy to talk with smart also sorry to see his radio show come to an end I mean 50 yrs is a long time Talking on the air wish him Luck at his Texas Ranch & enjoy his time off etc.
WNBC Imus in the Morning (quack-quack)... he was a riot from the early '70s and at least through the '80's with such characters as Moby Worm, Wilfred Brimley (Breakfast in bed bonus boner...), Tyson, etc. What a riot!
Ahh yes, the Holiday memories of Christmas Oatmeal w/ Wilford, and Larry Kenny (wish he could somehow in the future be able to be reunited at least on some kind of a basis w/ Imus and the rest of the cast), and Imus & a holiday mellowed ol' Willie, w/ a Christmas song to boot! Doesn' get much better 'n' that now, does it boyz 'n' gurlz! Careful now, cause "we don' wanna git no fights started in here!" Thanks for the Holiday Greetings, snuke37!
No, Kenny came back with him and the rest of the gang on ABC, but a year later he seemed to have disappeared . Just watch the first episode back: Dec 3rd 2007
Comedy, parody, and sense of humors have been broken for almost 20 years now. South Park is the last bastion of real humor left. This was funny x infinity. The future sucks.
Don Imus comic genius and a real radio legend, time takes them all but the memories last forever and so do the smiles and laughs.
Well said!

I never get tired of it!
I remember this one. I laughed just as much now as I did then. Thanks for this memory. My god, I sound like Bob Hope.
Oh man, this brought back so many memories! Who else remembers the Arnold Schwarzenegger skits? Classic!
I loved the Arnold skits! I listened to him when he was just on WFAN in NY... Grew up in NJ and listened every morning
oh my fucking god man!i'm in tears right now!man i miss these skits, they were the best!!
Ron Bartlet as " SAL MINELLA" Great stuff etc.
@@MyREDTAIL Monella.
The best was when Ted Kennedy skits were played and he referenced water and then they played the car crashing and landing in the water.
God I miss Larry Kenney. This brings back so many good memories. Thanks for posting. Hope the I-man does a reunion show before he retires for good.
Warner Wolf & Charles Mc Cord also
Thanks to UA-cam Imus will go on for ever. Hopefully etc.

This is drop dead funny. Larry would do Elvis as well, and my favorite, Gen. Patton. Ah, the days when morning radio was good radio here in NY.

Belly laughing with my wife! OMG Hysterical.
I also miss the General Patton skits. Private! Take out those lights!
Christmas is no fun without Wilfred.
About the funniest bit ever ... RIP to Don and Wilford (Yeah I know this isn't him but still)
Yeah. Crazy how they went within a year of each other.
Oatmeal beats a woman 7 ways to Sunday 🤣
Kinney was brilliant. This is fffing hilarious. Someone, please, post the wilford Brimely skit when he said "table bangin' boner."
Ol Wilford didn’t say nothin about Oatmeal and diabeetus. 😜
This was actually when he was on MSNBC, 'the good old days'. Very funny stuff, not like his dumbed down show, now on Fox Business.
Right MSNBC Were the best of the Best Radio shows Remembering " Wolf Man Jack " there also may he RIP
Kenney was hilarious. What a talent. I guess he didn't want to continue after Imus got the boot for his "Nappy Headed Ho" comments..

Larry was just incredible. Loved him. Too bad he bailed when things went nuts.
Did he bail, or was he cut when Imus added two African-American cast members following the "nappy" incident?
