    I think top five should've gone like this....:
    1.Carcharodontosaurus
    2. Giganotosaurus
    3. Tyrannosaurus (barely)
    4. Spinosaurus (WHY THE FUCK DOES EVERYONE HATE HIM!?! PROBABLY CAUSE OF JURASSIC PARK 3)
    5. Acrocanthosaurus

      This list is much more realistic. I would put Allosaurus over Spinosaurus. Eustreptospondylus might crack my top 10 too but Incredible World did a great job on this video. Well done and very fun.

      Mike G No no no, now I know your gonna say size doesn't matter but, SERIOUSLY? Allosaurus? Dude Allosaurus is like 5 metres shorter (in length) and like 3 metres shorter (in height) I still love Allosaurus tho

    I found this video when I was like 10 when i was trying to prove to my friend that the spinosaurus was stronger than a trex. I was infatuated with dinosaurs as well at the time, so I watched the video dozens of times. I’m 18 now, and I got reminded of this video for some reason today, and I managed to find it. Really takes me back

    Wow that was really educational. I think you should have done the marine stuff separately because the oceans are completely a "different kettle of fish". There are crazy creatures like megalodon trolling the depths. From what I have read the spinosaurus spent most of the time in the water eating fish etc. Good work!

  • @prehistoricpkmn8372
    @prehistoricpkmn8372 9 років тому +40

    Okay, so time for my take on this. I'm only going to look at the 4 that matter, being T. Rex, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Spinosaurus.
    T. Rex: Tyrannosaurus is the most famous dinosaur for a reason. He is big, tough, and (as far as we know) one of the smartest dinosaurs. I'm also going to throw in one thing about the hunter / scavenger thing... It should be reasonably obvious that T. Rex was primarily a hunter, not a scavenger. Something that size would need to eat quite a bit, and you wouldn't be able to get that off of scavenging. However, I am also sure that T. Rex wouldn't pass up a scavenge if the opportunity came up. Back to the main point, though. T. Rex has powerful jaws, moved relatively fast, and was (again, as far as we know) likely capable of thinking things out more than "See food. Chase food. Eat food / walk away with ouchie".
    Giganotosaurus / Carcharodontosaurus: They are basically the exact same dinosaur (not literally, I just mean there is so many similarities), so I'll include them both here. Now, I'm going to say it here. Giganotosaurus is my favorite dinosaur, and it has been since I learned about it in Kindergarten (Nigel Marven was my favorite person right alongside Steve Irwin back then), but I will not allow that bias to get in the way of this argument. So, that aside, lets move on. Giganotosaurus was possibly a pack hunter, which definitely gives it some credit in a fight, and it also managed to take down Argentinosaurus. Now, people say taking down a sauropod doesn't give it any more of a chance in a fight against T. Rex / Spinosaurus / Carcharodontosaurus. However, I don't think that is true. Based on the fact that Argentinosaurus could easily injure one of them, it would take some planning and carefully made movements / decisions to take one down. On to Carcharodontosaurus, who is one of the 2 creatures in these 4 who could have actually fought another in real life. Now, I will admit it here. I do not know a whole lot about him so I won't spout things out that I don't know for sure.
    Spinosaurus: This is where it gets tough. Spinosaurus is the biggest question mark in the dinosaur world. Was he bipedal or quadrupedal? Was his bite force weak or strong? So, I will look at it from all angles. If Spinosaurus was depicted as the JP3 Spino (bipedal and an apparently strong bite force), he would have been a seriously tough fighter. However, if he was how science has been showing (a quadruped with a weak bite force), then he likely would not have stood a chance. Either way, Spinosaurus has relatively weak teeth. However, if he was a quadrupedal dinosaur, then he would be unable to use his claws effectively.
    Final Decision: None of them would win. If you had all 4 of them in the same area (which that right there is hard enough), they probably wouldn't even want to fight each other. They would all know that even winning the fight could result in death, because if they took an injury in the fight, it could end up being fatal and make it so they couldn't hunt anymore. Now, since a lot of you are probably complaining at this answer, I'm going to say... they all have (more or less) equal shots at winning. There is no 1 true answer. Spinosaurus would win sometimes, G-Rex would win sometimes (I wonder how many people will get the reference...), Carcharodontosaurus wins sometimes, and T. Rex wins sometimes. That is where I will leave this argument for now.

      Spinosaurus is thought to be primarily a fish eater, much like it's cousin Baryonyx.

    • @prehistoricpkmn8372
      @prehistoricpkmn8372 9 років тому +2

      Stefan Veenstra That is what I believe is correct, but I did include the old thoughts on Spinosaurus just in case anyone brought it up.

    • @StefanVeenstra
      @StefanVeenstra 9 років тому

      PrehistoricPKMN Yeah, I understand. Scientists haven't decisively settled, it's thought to eat land animals as well, but preferred fish. Which is logical, fish weren't much of a challenge to catch and there were loads of fish.
      On another note: given the fact Spinosaurus was discovered mainly through north Africa, it might be very well that some of todays crocodilian species might be far decendants of Spinosaurus.

    • @prehistoricpkmn8372
      @prehistoricpkmn8372 9 років тому

      Stefan Veenstra Huh, I never knew the crocodile thing. I always assumed that Spinosaurus was too far away for that and it would be things like Sarcosuchus and Deinosuchus. (Which I guess that is mainly what it is, but I didn't know Spinosaurus was that close).

    Something tells me this guy didn't research the Spinosaurus. It was an aquatic killed, and mostly likely either walked on all fours on land or hunched over (with some really strong legs to keep balance). It swam, however, explaining its fin and body shape. Its long snout, like a croc, helped it hunt marine life. I remember reading somewhere that it's shit on land, because either it was slow or couldn't maneuver well. Regardless, if it tried to fight on land, it wouldn't fair so well.

    • @pipeduppranking1383

    • @IncredibleWorld
      @IncredibleWorld  9 років тому +1

      Cesar Barrera Hi, I've actually answered these points about 20 times already. Firstly, nothing has been "proven" (because it's never been witnessed, "experts" can only guess/speculate). Secondly, even if it was proven, why does it matter if Spino walked on all fours? How does that make it less deadly? Lions, tigers and bears all walk on all fours. As for behaving like a crocodile, again, is that really a sign of weakness? Crocodiles are magnificent predators (hiding, lurking, then attacking the unsuspecting). He may have behaved a bit like a hippo/crocodile hybrid? And anything that came near a watering hole was in danger of being pounced upon, trampled and dragged into the water and drowned. Do you really think a beast that big lived exclusively on trout and salmon? Ha.
      Thanks for watching!

      @CNOTE-kg4oc 9 років тому +1

      They were short and stumpy and they couldn't run on them they use their hands to walk to but on there knuckles there were more successful in the water and yes these are actual facts if it was our land with any other dinosaur it would lose against it didn't have the strongest bite force it was probably too slow to move on land

    Why isn't T-Rex 1st it is by far the most dangerous (land animal) don't get me wrong spino and the other ones will decimate any living thing now but cmon t-Rex may have small arms but it has so tough skin and bones with its crazy teeth and jaws it can crush through what steel. And it was a pretty fast dinosaur for its size but it is the most well know carnivorous dinosaur. ALL HAIL T-REX

    • @chrislopez3329

      Spinosaurus had claws and muscle that could pierce metal.

    • @chrislopez3329
      @chrislopez3329 9 років тому

      Also, the only major thing that T-Rex had was his incredible bite force. Spinosaurus had sheer size, strength, and his lethal claws. Spino could easily grip his neck and claw away at it.

    • @chrislopez3329
      @chrislopez3329 9 років тому

      ***** a lot of times T-rex takes a couple bites at the neck in order to kill it's victim. Now a lot of it's victims were smaller than it was. Scientists found that it may have also eaten sauropods. So it also hunted big game. Spino ate fish and other dinosaurs, it's main food source was fish but if it's climate changed then it would have had to make a change as well.

    • @RealBigDinosaur

      WRONG, you know what, I am sick to death of u fucks that are obsessed with Tyrannosaurus. Your wrong the t-rex facts are right but your wrong about the others. IF SIZE DOESNT MATTER WHATS HAPPENS WITH GODZILLA VS T -REX HUH? HUH?!?!?!?! Anyways Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus were bigger and stronger than t-rex, t-rex has puny arms and cant do shit with them. Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus have huge powerful arms, are beef and muscular and have incredible bite fore, if they bite t-rexs neck and use their arms to snap it, it's finished where as t-rex can only try and drag them to the ground or take chunks from them, which they can do aswell.

    • @chrislopez3329

    Ok you Trex fans and Spino haters , the fact is Spino is number one is because it's smarter bigger and yes it did have a weaker bite force but it's the defense that the Spino has. The claws is and intelligence is by the Spino side which why it makes it to the #1 spot. I'm kinda tired of people saying Trex should be 1 because it has 12 inch teeth and had a nasty bite and had the largest bite force which are all true except the bite force but here's the truth about T. rex- it's just a pissed off dinosaur that was really slow and had a really really small brain which it had no intelligence at all. So basically whatever it saw the female or male would just say that's my meal basically they got they're ass handed to them to ankylosaurus lol but, I'm not harassing T. rex to be a dick trust me I love Trex to death but Spino is just bigger badder and more of an asshole lol

    Spinosaurus was big yes but it didn't stand on two legs often because it was front heavy, meaning that the head was heavy the back legs were pushed farther back with the huge sail and long stomach region. this would be to much for it legs to handle so it would have to walk on all fours most of the time, but since it's a fish eater, maybe it was more of a water dwelling creature much like a crocodile

    I hate it with all these comments saying "why is it Spinosaurus, you just like it because of JP3. It should be T-rex, he would have kicked Spinosaurus butt" The thing is it's just a movie, nothing is meant to be totally accurate. Plus T-rex and Spinosaurus lived in different times and different areas, so this whole argument is pointless. If we were using facts there would be a 50% chance of 1 of them winning, there is no complete winner. T-rex because of it's power of the jaw and body and Spinosaurus, long arms/claws and size. It couldn't beat Charcarodontosaurus (bigger than t-rex, same size as it) because there is a 50% chance of them winning, for they used different tactics. (ignore this last sentence if it confused you) (learnt all this from planet dinosaur)

    Alright, it's time to lay the Giganotosaurus Vs Carcharodontosaurus Vs Tyrannosaurus Vs Spinosaurus debate to REST. Now hold onto your butts.
    Tyrannosaurus rex: The most popular of these four, the TRex certainly was no pushover. It was powerfully built, and had a bone crushing bite. It was most likely the smallest of these, at 12 meters long, but not by a large margin. Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus both were about a meter longer, and Spinosaurus was the biggest, being a massive 18 meters long. It's bite would have been a death sentence to any opponent, and would severely cripple an opponent if it landed a solid blow. It was relatively smart, being able to prey on heavily armored foes such as Ankylosaurus. However, Tyrannosaurus was relatively slow, it's top speed being no more than 20 mph maximum, thus making it difficult for it to land a bite on faster foes.
    Giganotosaurus/Carcharodontosaurus: I'm putting these two together since they are practically the same. Both were around 13 meters long and their weapons were about the same. They both had long, thin, flesh slicing teeth like daggers, and were meant to inflict major blood loss and sever the windpipe. They both were very fast, with estimates making a top speed of about 30 mph, and would most likely battle with hit-and-run tactics.
    Spinosaurus: From what we know, Spinosaurus mostly was piscivorus, meaning it preyed on fish. It usually walked in a quadrupedal stance, though it most likely could rear up on it's hind legs to utilize it's claws. It's bite force was probably relatively weak, as it's jaws were designed to hold onto fish. It's arms were massive and had enormous claws on the end that could do severe damage. However, just like the T Rex, it was thought to be very slow.
    VERDICT: I believe that the most powerful are Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus. Their speed makes them able to attack and dart out of the way, before the opponent could land a hit. This would mean that they would be very effective against the slow and bulky Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus. They could also easily wear them out and then go in for a killing blow on the neck. If you have any contradictory arguments, you are free to comment them. Please make them respectfully.

    So Many T-Rex Fanboys.
    Just Because T-Rex is American, it's popular, and has a bite force powerful enough doesn't make it the best.
    If it was like that I will say that the Carnotaurus was the best Dinosaur ever period.
    Giganotosaurus is better because he was hunting and feeding on a frikin Sauropod "The Biggest Sauropod to be clear"
    The T-Rex is big yea but they've never found a really Huge Sauropod like Argentinosaurus with T-Rex Bites or something like that.
    If the Carcharodontosaurus is in second because is a close familiar to the Giganotosaurus and they are basically the same.
    Size matters a lot in Nature.
    Who attacks Elephants?
    Only Humans but we have weapons and all that stuff.
    Leons have tried to attack Elephants but that is Useless.
    Spinosaurus is my favorite Dinosaur.
    But not because of this list.
    Nobody can prove the bite force of a extinct animal.
    But I think the Spino would have the same Bite force as the T-Rex.
    In modern Days the Biggest Bite Force has been given by a Crocodile.
    The Spino it's basically a Giant Crocodile with huge meat cutting claws and the size to fight.
    The Spino has the weakness of the Spine and the diet of basically fish.
    But if he was a true meat eating Dino it would be just like the one Jurassic Park or even worse.
    The T-Rex's Bite Force is awesome.
    But if we would colide with any of the other big meat eating Dinos i think they won't be so stupid to let the T-Rex Attack them that easily.
    So Stop with the Fanboy part of the world and accept that popular doesn't mean stronger or better.

    also spinosauroids were much more primitive than charodontasaurids and especially tyrannosaurs. besides being big does not make it deadly it was adapted for aquatic life, was slow and not even close to being agile on land.
    Due to speed, size, intelligence and agility Utahraptor would surely be top at least above there top four - all o which are puerly there as they are big

    You guys know that dinosaur george confirmed that Trex would win.
    Trex was one of the latest dinosaurs, which means that it was more "advanced" than any other dinosaurs on the list.
    and one thing we should never forget is that the Trex had the thickest skull of the carnivores.
    so if the spinosaurus were to use his claws on his skull, it would hurt the Trex but it wouldn't do any damage to him.
    but I know this is a "deadliest list and not top 10"

    I think people are underestimating intelligence in regard to hunting, especially in the case of spinosaurus. It was considerably smarter than the T. Rex and also larger, faster, and able to swim. There's no comparison - the thing would most likely trick a T. Rex into killing itself in the water.

      EpicGaMer Sam What's weird about walking on all fours? Lions, tigers and bears all walk in that manner (as do squillions of other creatures). Anyway, any "recent discovery" is nothing but guesswork, as no dinos have been observed by any of the "experts" who speculate about them. Thanks for watching.

    • @wessellrustbrook7831
      @wessellrustbrook7831 9 років тому

      Hm... it was wierd at the time because most predators during that time were mostly bi peddle to gain more speed.

    • @IncredibleWorld
      @IncredibleWorld  9 років тому +1

      EpicGaMer Sam bi peddle doesn't equal speed. There's a good reason cheetahs are much faster than Usain Bolt.

    • @wessellrustbrook7831
      @wessellrustbrook7831 9 років тому +2

      Um... I'm not taking about present day. But cheetahs spine is very flexible. It uses it spine like a spring contracting it body then pushing itself forward. Spinosaure had a huge sail on its spine which means it's unlikely that Spinosaure's spine performed like a cheetah. Stromer who first discovered the spinosaurus guessed that spino was bi peddle but it wasn't. Spino was front heavy and that +8 foot sail would most likely make it hard to walk on two legs. There are simply more evidence that spino walked on all fours.

      Actually the Spino was bigger than the Giganoto. The largest Giganotosaurus (2012) is 13.2 meters in size while the 2014 research of the Spino says it could reach more than 15 meters in size. It was heavier than the Giganoto, that's for sure and most likely larger aswell.
      As for which one is deadlier; if in water, the Spino would win. On land Giganoto would take the prize.

    • @TheMariateresa1973
      @TheMariateresa1973 9 років тому +1

      I dont think that giganotosaurus had low stamina, as a member of carcharodontosaurids they had a air sac system that provide excellent breathing method just like birds, maybe be was too heavy for run at high speed but i think be can beat many other giant dinosaur in a speed contest (exception with epanterias amplexus and carcharodontosaurus)

      Yeah but elephants have different means of attacking people than butting them like a Lion would. T-Rex, Carcharodontasaurus, and Giganotosaurus all filled practically the same niche in different periods of time. T-Rex would have been better as number 1. Just because he was slower and slightly smaller than the higher-placing dinosaurs, doesn't hide the fact that one bite from him would kill practically anything.

    • @IncredibleWorld

    I agree with most of it, except the Spinosaurus. Your perception through this video made people think of the Jurassic Park 3 Spinosaurus when in actual fact, a Spinosaurus was, yes, a large and deadly predator, although it mainly fed at the waters edge on things like fish and water mammals, and also it was a quadruped (walked on 4 legs), not bipedal (walks on 2 legs) which was shown by none of the photos in this video.

    I would not have put spinosaurs at number 1 because with recent discoveries paleontologists found out that spinosaurs walked on four legs and would eat mostly fish and small dinosaurs. Also it's back legs where about the same size as it's front legs so it wouldn't run on its back legs one thing that also keeps it from run on two legs is that it was a bit front heavy.

  • @shadytriceratops
    @shadytriceratops 8 років тому +8

    This whole video is incorrect. Spino was most likely quadrupedal, and if not, it was low to the ground. Even then, it's jaw was only useful for grabbing fish. (Though, some recent studies show that Spino just might've had the jaw to hunt ornithopods). T. Rex was one of the last predators to exist. It would have been more evolved. It had feathers to cope with the climate. It had binocular vision. Megaton bite force. Giga and Carchar were fierce, but their bite was weak compared to Rex. They had an advantage in speed, but they didn't have binocular vision. That was another disadvantage. All these factors are important in a battle. T. Rex would most likely win, if it was just a 1v1 battle between any of them.

    • @RubenFPSC
      @RubenFPSC 8 років тому +1

      Spino could walk on 2 and he wanst low to the ground to start of... Spino had massive and meat shredding claws and could run faster, and t rex lived without manh competition, while sino had to deal with other apex predators like carcha... Spino was much more intelligent than most of the dinos at that time... Not to say that he was agile , and t rex was solid as a rock, he couldnt move....and the strongest bite belongs to spino ... Way stronger than a t res bite... But you are just a fkn t rex fanboy... Spino ruled the dinos

    • @SDSmither
      @SDSmither 8 років тому +1

      yes, but the spino can't use it jaws...literally the only thing it could even open its jaws wide enough to bite on would be the arms...T-Rex has the capabilities for a one shot kill shot if that makes sense. Get the Spino's neck and its dead no questions asked. Main question would be if the T-Rex would bleed to death or not from the claw strikes that the spino gets in. And that's really the only debate for it against the Giganto or the carcharo is blood loss.
      The T-Rex was a one big strike killer. Gigano and Carcharo where both more based around stamina especially the Carcharo. Thing had an amazing set of lungs and air sacks. Both of their killing styles were set more around making the other guy bleed out to death, with their jaws and teeth built specifically for that. Get quick bites in, tear off a bit of flesh, then run away and watch you bleed. Both were also probably faster, with them reaching around 30 MPH tops, with the T-Rex being a generous 25mph at best if an full sized adult, more likely around 20 thou. But, they had relatively weak jaws.
      So overall, its do you think the t-rex can get a bite in on a vital spot? If it does it wins the first fight. Second fight is seeing if it dies or not to its injuries. The other guys, if bitten anywhere, is going to have a lot of broken bones and will likely die to internal injuries.

  • @YOBOYANTMAQ
    @YOBOYANTMAQ 7 років тому +1

    The trex is the most deadly and has a bite that is 13 thousand pounds and that is 2 times as much as the spinos bite. The spino isn't big it's just long and tall but look how skinny it is and so many dinosaurs can crush a spino and snap a spino it's just like snapping a stick. But a trex is big like muscular . The trex is stronger and more deadly with its power and its bite and by looking at a trex you would be more scared than seeing a spino because look at a trex like if u see a trex with those big ass jaws and then about to bite u like you'd be scared

Most Paleontologist agree that they would have most like had avoided each other and if they did fight the Carchar would most likely be the victor due to the Carchar's Bite, power and stronger bones.Spino's teeth were much weaker than Carchars, many of Spino's prey giant saw fish have been found with Spino teeth latched in their bones/bodies. Spinos spent most of their life wading in water catching fish. These two animals have two different food sources. Spino were made to hunt Fish and Carchar were made to hunt Large tough herbivores.

    I think before spinosaurus was discovered to be quadrupedal with short legs
    Spinosaurus May have had longer legs, so it could have been deadlier...
    Before it fully was adapted to hunting in water
    Also, spinosaurus, even though quadrupedal is still very deadly
    It could possibly kill a mosasaurus, though they didn’t live at the same time
    Could possible kill the carcharodontosaurus, but would have to watch it’s speed and bite
    Spinosaurus was slow, and mostly adapted to being in water, with a pretty weak skull but that doesn’t mean it can’t kill...
    There is evidence that the spinosaurus ate pterosaurs, mostly when the swamps or rivers would dry up

      yes it does dumbass. Spinosaurus walked on four legs and was very slow. It only hunted in the water, and was extremely slow on land giving the T-rex and extremely high advantage. One bite to the spine it is dead. Dumbass filthy human

      You're stupid, if it was a predator, he had to be on twos to attack and run fast.

    I love that you recognized the spinosaurus as number one because i have seen multiple other videos and websites that don't even include the spinosaurus in their list.

    Utahraptor is my personal favorite dinosaur.
    Also, just like to point out that while the Spinosaurus does deserve to be higher than a T. rex, Giganto would beat it. Spinosaurus actually walked on all 4 legs and wasn't fast compared to other Dinos.

    Even one of the smallest dinosaurs could've been number 1. Almost every predatory dinosaur, would've been deadly, maybe not always deadly if it were to go up against a much bigger or stronger dinosaur, but to a dinosaur's prey, it would've been very deadly if it was an efficient hunter, so, size and power isn't always what deadliness comes down to.
