The clippers have been one of the hottest shooting teams in the league for the past 3 years consistently. They dont even have their best player (Kawhi) yet and hes the most efficient player in the NBA come playoff time.

I won't give him or Kyrie too much criticism cause they both ended up with over 30 points on good effiency and Even though they didn't have a lot of assist they did generate Open looks. The Mavs in the 2nd half, with pretty much only Kyrie and Luka hitting shots, managed to cut down the lead from 28 to 9 then it was 12 from a Clippers three and that was the final game score.
Anyone suggesting the first half is a reliable metric for the next games is a clown tbh.

I feel like I should be worried but I’m really not. First half was ugly, they hadn’t played in a week and the shots just weren’t falling. You can tell mavs tried to ease into the game and the clippers had the opposite idea so ultimately it hurt them. That second half was great tho. They really were locking the clippers up and zubac(who scored 20 in the first half) barely had any touches in the second. You can tell huge adjustments were made in the locker room. The mavs were down 30 at one point and despite their terrible shooting still only lost by 12. Next game it is definitely not going to be so easy for the clips

Aside from Luka and Kyrie, the rest of the Mavericks combined to shoot 10 for 36, which is 27%! The Mavs two Centers combined for 4 rebounds, Luka had 13 rebounds. Luka played 43 minutes and somehow finished this blowout at a +3. However it wasn't a good shooting game for Doncic either.
