He might not be my favourite character overall, but in terms of gameplay? I absolutely adore him in that field. GG is a game full of unique character, but I think Zappa is the weirdest and coolest of them all in the gameplay.
Really, recording the videos of this game I realized how unique the characters are, and it's very difficult to understand how a person's head works with a character with so many variables like this
@@fightinggamemovelists yeah, I'm confused too! Newer GG is has tons of easier characters, they have their own game plan, sure, but their quirks is plain and simple. But Zappa? His summon is based around the GOD DAMN timer, and he's a Jojo character, but with 4+ stands. My respect to all Zappa players, not even mains since if you know how to play Zappa, I will get on my knees and bow to you.
@@fightinggamemovelists Once you understand how each summon works individually, being able to flow between them all on the fly is super satisfying. The variety is the main reason I main him
I wonder if Zappa would make a return to Strive :') he's literally the first character in GG that I played and love, now that Testament, Bridget, and Anji made a return I hope Zappa too would
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that Zappa is the first character... maybe it's a good thing, because he's complex, so the others might seem easy

My goodness after watching this video I actually get it now on how to summon the other summons cause whenever I try him out I never figure out on why it's this and that but goodness this was helpful indeed. Welp now gotta practice this pain in the head to use character now that I understand a bit lelz
He was and still is my favorite character in the Guilty Gear franchice. I never realized he was so inspired by jojo's manga/anime... an evil spirit possesed him, has a stand... looks a lot like Vanilla ice xD
