Yeah, even though they did 3 sequels already, it seems like people are pretty excited for the new sequel coming out. Hopefully Scream fans also go back and check out New Nightmare, Wes Craven's conceptual precursor to Scream.
"For the kind of movie it is"... Praising people for their performance then knocking them down a few pegs. Because oh not it's not a legit movie... lol I know she didn't mean it that way, but still comes off a bit low of a comment.
Though the interviewer is clearly not a fan of horror films, and was a bit condescending/disapproving of the movie, she asked good questions in a calm manner, and actually gave Neve space to answer them, which made for a successful and informative interview. That’s in total contrast to David Letterman (he interviewed her that same year), who acted like he was wired on caffeine, did not have enough sleep, and was barely controlling his lecherous tendencies to restrain himself from touching her. I can understand the latter, as her beautiful face and energy made me (and millions of other normal, healthy men) want to make love to her also, but for an interviewer it was pretty silly, undisciplined and unprofessional. It made Letterman’s interview more about his own bizarre, attention-seeking behavior than it was about any sincere interest in getting to know his guest, or helping the audience get to know her either, which is what I was hoping for. Not very professional (or useful to anyone), but then David Letterman’s emotional age seems to be stuck somewhere in his mid-teen years… LOL. 🤣 #ArrestedDevelopment Neve seemed like a genuinely sweet and caring young woman… hope the years haven’t changed her much. ❤️
scream is a classic movie...it's held up really well
@Trey Stephens Yes, it's a very clever script, but in a smart (not cutesy) way.
