True! It definitely was one of the greatest, funniest program ever! All the actors plus the funny lines and of course the topics made the show! And Archie's grammatical and misuse of words and ideas mistakes were hysterical! Edith's naivety and the things she said we're also hysterical. Gloria was an excellent actress and definitely a fantastic comedian. Mike the Meathead was terrific too!❤😂🎉😅😊
Archie's facial expressions were priceless! Thank God for UA-cam and re-runs, because no way in hell today's hyper PC society would ever allow All in the Family to be made. Best. TV. Sitcom. Ever.
Along with 'Married with children' and probably half a dozen other shows. Yet ironically, a show like 'Modern Family' wouldn't have seen the light of day in the 60's or 70's.
All In the Family was created by progressives to hold a mirror up to dated ideals, Archie is funny, but he is also a fool and an idiot. This show helped move society forward not backward. I can’t believe anyone could think it was a celebration of Archie.
Yes All In The Family was the best TV Sitcom ever. I purchased all the Seasons of All In The Family on DVD, so I can watch it whenever I want, one of the best purchases I have ever made!
You picked some great All in the Family scenes. While I was watching this I was trying to decide what my top favorites scenes are but it is so hard to choose, there are so many great scenes in All in the Family. What I do know is the episode "Edith's Problem" is hysterical.
The reason he gets so outspoken today, is because both Trump and Archie are older guys from Queens - that's what's triggering him again, like when he was younger
"Ediths Problem" is one of my all-time favorites too. The writing and actiing, as usual were top notch!!! There were so many great episodes like "Archie Gives Blood" where Archie, Mike and Lionel discuss "black blood" vs "white Blood" and transfusions. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Boy do I miss the 70s (TV and music).
After watching the first part I immediately came here to see if anyone had commented on The Aubery incident/murder and I see your comment. Very sad Indeed. Poor dude was just jogging and he was chased down and shot to death. Murdered.
My all time favorites episodes and scenes were at the table when Edith had the change, when Edith wore Gloria's wig, and when Sammy Davis came to visit Bunker's.
I echo what mike s says. after a tiring day with the grandchildren n kitchen sink n cooking etc I had to look up this once fav sitcom. thnks so much 4 u tube
My favourite scene is when Louise tells Edith that her two guests are 'swingers.' The expression on Edith's face is priceless. Another great scene is Archie, drunk and trapped in the basement thinking he's met God, and he's black.
I can remember when i was in Grade-school, we were outside in the playground, it must have been 4th grade or so - we'd be chanting: "Nixon Nixon He's our man - McGovern belongs in the gargbage can!" Why were we doing that at that age? Makes no sense upon recollection.
Such a funny episode. What about some 88 year old women who end up wishing they could bear arms in their own home sometimes so they could finally get some peace and quiet alone however they have no disposable income anymore?
If they had banned guns back then, think of all the lives that could have been saved. And the possibility of school shootings would never have entered our minds .
To go back to the time when all we had to fear was cultural pollution and VD. A time when if a man wanted to engage in physical activity he wore a jock. No exceptions.
Either you misunderstood the scene or you are unfamiliar with the characters. Lionel was saying what he believed Archie to be thinking and was proven correct when Archie agreed. He knew Archie was already a racist and frequently taunted him in this way . . . without Archie being aware that he was being taunted.
Can you imagine what Archie would have to say about parents allowing their "transgendered" children to change their gender before they even reach their teens?
James Stuart - They were arguing 50 years before AITF too. In a complete century, a full 100 years...the political divide is still holding the country apart. What would be wrong with judging ideas, based on their merit, not on their political stripe? As long as people back bad ideas, that come from bad politicians, just because the ideas come from the party they endorse...the nation will remain in chaos. Personally, I would never back a bad idea, just because it came from my choice. While I will back almost everything they do, we have to draw the line at "stupid"!...and I don't care if it is from who I voted for. Call it like it is...as we can't afford to back ''stupid'' any longer.
I tell you, the acting on this show, especially by Archie and Edith, are top notch. And of course the dialog too.
Great show
Loved that show. Great comedy. Nothing comes close with today 's TV.

I love when Archie yells, and then shushes himself. It's sooo funny.😂❤
One of the best shows and cast to EVER be on television.....

All in the Family was 100% PC! Archie was proven wrong every time!
Yes All In The Family was the best TV Sitcom ever. I purchased all the Seasons of All In The Family on DVD, so I can watch it whenever I want, one of the best purchases I have ever made!

It took me years to figure out that Meathead wasn't acting.
LOL!!
The reason he gets so outspoken today, is because both Trump and Archie are older guys from Queens - that's what's triggering him again, like when he was younger
Only Archie was acting.
Fantastic...Clint Westwood!
Hahaha
Brilliant script, marvelous acting.

I also love the ep when Edith goes through the change! Such great shows.
All in the Family is still relevant!
My favorite ever was when Archie and Mike were stuck in the Basement and got drunk, and talked!
This show has really held up! Topics prevalent then as now....Just terrific writing and acting. Wish there were more tv choices like this one today.
"Would it make you feel any better little girl if they were pushed out of windows?"
👍😂😂😂😂
Man, Archie was so damn funny
bunker:" You ain't whistling dixie Lionel" lionel: " oh, i never do that Mr Bunker"
That gun control scene couldn't have been more prescient if it tried. Almost eerie.
All 4 were great scenes!!! "If your going to have a change of life, I'm going to give you just 30 seconds...Now Change! LOL
The future has proven Bunker correct and Meathead wrong.
My favourite scene is when Meathead hugs Archie in the Kitchen and says :"Archie, I understand."...the look on Archie's face is beyond hilarious
Made me laugh! Nice choices. Thanks.
+tim weatherill You're Welcome...
My pleasure.
Fantastic THANKS! - loved this show
He NAILED that role...
"SCRANTON". It doesn't come up very often but whenever someone says Scranton I shout "SCRANTON!" They have no idea why.

0:20 : That takes a very sad turn in May 2020 in Georgia. :( :( :(
After watching the first part I immediately came here to see if anyone had commented on The Aubery incident/murder and I see your comment. Very sad Indeed. Poor dude was just jogging and he was chased down and shot to death. Murdered.

Golden age of television 😂
It's hysterical when Archie yells out loud, and then shushes himself!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Archie never finishes his supper.
yup they are classics.
Archie how many.people would like to have guns Mike thousands Archie but how many people would like to have VD... Lmao that's priceless...lol
"But, how many people would like to have VD?". Oh, sooooooo funny!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
NEVER EVER COULD THESE CLASSICS BE REMADE BY ANYONE.......ANYONE ! I'M CRYING FROM LAUGHING SO VERY HARD !
true. PC Culture is killing comedy slowly but surely.
Archie was the greatest
Clint Westwood-I love it!
I echo what mike s says. after a tiring day with the grandchildren n kitchen sink n cooking etc I had to look up this once fav sitcom. thnks so much 4 u tube
"Because talking to you is like casting pearls into wine!"😂😂😂😂😂😂
But, how many people like to have VD????😂😂😂😂😂Soooooo funny, Archie!!!!😂😂😂😂
Archie to Sammy Davis Jr:"Would you like some sugar in your eye?" Done 🤣
Fantastic!
Meat head acted a commy and is one in real life. Go figure.
maybe he wasn't really acting
maybe that's why he was hired
Rob Reiner is a Commy? You’re a twit👎🏾
watermelon in easter hay
: imagine that. You write things only a fuckwit would write and you are one in real life. Go figure.
He is a socialist not a communist you sound like Michael Savage.
LMFAO. The Groin-a-cologist!
Best show of all time.
Ooh, hes 1 of those GUN CONTROL FAIRIES"...Never laughed so hard...PRICELESS
Clint Westwood, very close veins, groinocoligist. Classic
My favourite scene is when Louise tells Edith that her two guests are 'swingers.' The expression on Edith's face is priceless. Another great scene is Archie, drunk and trapped in the basement thinking he's met God, and he's black.
Clint Westwood!? Wow this guy took it to the next level hahah
That's Boss Hog from the Dukes of Hazzard.
Sorell Booke. He also played Archies boss. Mr Sanders.
I thought so! You saved me the trouble of Googling it. ;)
the editorial is by Boss Hogg
Alf Landon I knew right away it was him. This show had the best actors.
He also later played Archie's Boss Mr Saunders.
"talking to you is like casting pearls into wine." 🤣🤣⚰⚰
a whole mile of jogging.......lmao
❤️ this show
I love it how Archie got schooled by Lionel 😂
I use to watch roller derby. It was great.
Comedy Gold. Just Gold.
"Stifle, stifle, STIFLE!"
"Well, back to the groinacologist!"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had tears by the middle.
Just 30 seconds! Come on, CHANGE!!!!😂😂😂😂
thats boss hog on the t.v.
My Very favoriet eppisode is when Archie is locked in his cellar and thinks the black oil delivery man is God.
LOL I love it when he screams the obvious "I'M LOCKED IN THE CELLAR!!"
I think the guy on tv is Boss Hogg.
My fav ep is the one where Edith is going through the change. Hilarious!!!!!!
Half a century later.... really, not a lot has changed.
Judas Christ, listening to that guns editorial" clip, you'd think this was a show from 2015, no 1975. In more than 40 years, nothing has changed.
0:21 Ahamad Aubry..it was always there.
Hysterical.
Hola Gracias x subien el video ¿¿¿hay alguno en español???
If they had banned guns back then, think of all the lives that could have been saved. And the possibility of school shootings would never have entered our minds .
Very funny
Things never changed
Why are not there chapters of Archie Bunker in Spanish? Really does not exist even one in the whole web. Does anyone know why?
Enrique Basurco Basurco A Senor Archie is untranslatable. Lol
What episode was the first scene from?
Keep laughing-- our country is dying; and oh yes- Archie was right all along.
what episode is the part around 6:30 from?
Duke Wayne and Clint Westwood 🤣
the man on the tv is his boss
What episode the first is?
Yeah, very good picks... mainly on the Edith's Problem episode, lol.
Thanks...!!
All classic, non-PC crap. Love it! :D
To go back to the time when all we had to fear was cultural pollution and VD. A time when if a man wanted to engage in physical activity he wore a jock. No exceptions.
Clint Westwood Buddy XD
The guy on TV is Boss Hogg
Sorry I don't remember....
Notice how Archie had no problem with Lionel jogging by himself, but Lionel is the one makes the racist comment. Yet Archie then becomes the racist.
Either you misunderstood the scene or you are unfamiliar with the characters. Lionel was saying what he believed Archie to be thinking and was proven correct when Archie agreed. He knew Archie was already a racist and frequently taunted him in this way . . . without Archie being aware that he was being taunted.
The first one s absolutely hilarious
SCRANTON @6:42
written like a true american.
Wait till AIDS enter the picture
'pack a rod' LOL!!! ;)
Clint Westwood. Very funny.
Ah that permanent issue of firearm control!
God , I could only imagine how Archie would react to todays issues , Gay marriage , lol Guns , school shootings , Corporate take over . OBAMA
Can you imagine what Archie would have to say about parents allowing their "transgendered" children to change their gender before they even reach their teens?
50 years later, Americans are still arguing over the same stuff.
James Stuart - They were arguing 50 years before AITF too.
