Correct, Nene was never fired. The truth is the girls never rallied around her because she’s not going to kiss anybody’s a$$ and be fake. Many of the girls did not mind being fake in order to stay on the show. (Kandi, Cynthia, even Kenya at one point) I appreciated her transparency. I strongly believe that Nene was depressed because she was dealing with Greg’s illness and her emotions were all over the place (ex: attacking the producers when they went in her closet and when she went to Eva’s trip in Japan)

Yea she was insufferable those last few seasons. More so the last one and IF it were possible for her to come back, it would only work if she came back with Porsha and or a new friend. Her the ladies clash too much. Kinda like what’s going on now with RHOA 🤷♀️

I think Nene was threatened by Kenya, but when I stopped to think about it who wouldn’t be, especially if they were trying to make Kenya the new Nene. Like watching your replacement come in and basically being expected to train them and take them under your wing who wouldn’t be threatened. So I think it goes both ways. I do think Kenya tried to get on Nenes good side at first but Kenya was a menace her first two seasons so I can see why Nene would find that off putting, but Nene had her time being hell on wheels too
Nene was nice and cordial to Kenya, even when Kenya and her BFF Cynthia were at odds. It went left when everyone including Nene sided with Phaedra when Kenya and Apollo were flirting. Nene was even was on Kenya’s ‘side’ with the work out videos.
@@allin3940 I agree too, that’s what I mean Kenya was a menace and even though I do think people were very harsh on Kenya in some instance, the Phaedra Apollo mess definitely put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouth due to the way she actively played into it.

I remember when this aired about them getting kicked out for unpaid rent and showing a house they didn’t actually live in. So, although nene was right about Phaedra and Kenya not showing their real reality, neither was she in her first season. Lol It’s the pot calling the kettle black.
I do feel that the forced nature of the show has definitely hindered it throughout the seasons and that’s probably why it would be beneficial to just clean house and start fresh w/ a new cast.

Yes she built the house...now is it tumbling down? No it is not. I love how they reference season six numbers comparing it to current seasons but Nene didn't leave till season 12. Let's compare season 12 to current that would be a bit more accurate.
I said Nene was the house manager...yeah she built it, presented the idea....when she gave that idea to Bravo, she was demoted to manager, but like the managers we all know, she became drunk with power and hard to work with.

Housewives is the house that bravo built and they asked nene and others to move, now she may have decorated it nice and made it pop but it always bravos. And let’s not act as if she want paid for her services.bravo changed the entire trajectory of her life nene wasn’t walking wearing Alexander McQueen her first few seasons cuz she couldn’t afford it. Before bravo she wasn’t booking tv shows like glee or the new normal. She got big and gave everyone her but to kiss and they humbled her. Accountability is what she’s allergic too and won’t take any.

In season six, I was siding with NeNe calling Peter a bitch because he was a bitch! He always inserted himself in the women's drama like he was one of the women. To this day, my feelings are hurt that Bravo hasn't given me a season with Peter standing next to the other women in the opening sequence, smiling and holding a peach with his own tagline. 🤣

About Cynthia, I dont think she ever tried to make us think she was innocent. Hell the whole time she kept tellin us nobody runs her. Aint nobody want to listen till Nene confirmed it. I agree with you that Cynthia probably never felt moved to really take a stand against the girls and the petty drama. She probably only gets like that if it really matters to her.

Carlos always tell that story proudly as if it's a great story. Carlos is no better than the Scott's and Hotel that's why he doesn't stop the sht that happens on Huntsville and Detroit. He really think women are beneath men.
Kandi is the highest paid housewife, then turned around and made additional money off the show with her youtube channel. Bravo is probably tired of Kandi eating off them. She's givin' friend of the show, which is a problem.

Kenya was on Angela Yee show, and she said that production cut a lot of info about her present project she's working on. She said she also presented the idea of a show of her and Brooklyn on their yearly trips to Paris for Brooklyns birthday 🎂. That was during the panorama. So production only want the mess.
Carlos wanted Nene to say things changed bc of Kenya but it seemed like she was saying it changed bc of production putting pressure on for those story lines

It really is sad Rodney when us successful women have to forgo relationships with men who may be less accomplished. I was in a similar marriage like nene during my first marriage and it was horrible! The story goes as far as Nene, Cynthia, Greg and Peter goes like this… Greg felt some type of way for how he looked on camera for not defending Nene at Kenya’s event when Nene and Peter got into it. So BTS they ALL collectively decided that during the cast trip Greg will confront Peter so we wouldn’t look like a chump for not defending his wife. Yes it backed fired because when the episode aired, fans were mad at Cynthia for not being mad at Nene when she called Peter a bitch. Cynthia let social media get our off her square and that’s when Cynthia and Nene friend started to unravel. But you are right Rodney. That storyline was made up but only for Greg to redeem himself and check Peter on camera. Nene also made up the storyline with snake gate in her last season.
Sheree has no personality, Nene has a lot of personality and she's quick witted. But her ego messed her up. Her and Kenya would be a hoot together. Nene doesn't seem to be a good team player.
Cousin you have the story right in regards to Nene and Cynthia planned storyline calling Peter a Bish. They planned it like Carlee Russell fake story and it back fired for Cynthia. Cynthia couldn't handle the backlash.
This was a great interview! I don’t understand why the people don’t like NeNe… when we think of RHOA we think of her. Did Nene get a big head, yes, but she worked for it. Kandi ain’t that humble no more either.

Nene had no reason to be threatened by Kenya when Kenya came to the show and she wasn’t. She was entertained by her you can tell by her confessionals and Nene was cordial with Kenya even with Kenya getting into with her BFF Cynthia. She even was on Kenya’s side with the donkey booty videos. Tides turned when Kenya and Apollo were getting zesty. Everyone sided with Phaedra . And then Nene invited Walter to her wedding because she didn’t even fool with Kenya enough to care. Then Kenya made a calculated decision to befriend Marlo to get back at Nene. They have not been the same since. Had nothing to do with her feeling ‘threatened’. Nene was still THE it girl Kenya’s first 3-4 seasons.
Kenya was still trying to solidify her friendships with the girls and it was rocky until she befriended Kandi and then Cynthia. Maybe after the Kandi-Kenya-Cynthia ‘alliance’ there could be an argument about Nene feeling personally threatened by Kenya but definitely not before that. Like you said Kenya was kissing Nene’s ass and it was only because she was burning bridges and thought befriending the OG would put her the girls’ good graces.

Kandi filmed her speak on it before the show aired so she couldn’t know about the backlash. Also, what’s different about what she said and what Nene was spilling about the bitch comment. She has given the platform to all of the women for them to give their perspectives in the show and most of them have taken advantage of the opportunity even Kenya.
Speak on it is not live, she films it a few days before we see it , so Kandi would not have known she was getting backlash.
I like Nene but can also honestly say there is no need for her to return, RHOA & Bravo's best days are behind them anyway.
