It’s sad how Akechi’s hesitating to leave because he didn’t wanna leave behind the friendships he made and go back to his life
Probably also because he had decided not to betray and kill Joker as well, and probably thought about officially joining them to face Shido, but then finding out that he would forget everything. He probably felt everything was taken from him right there.
He even does say in his fight with the thieves, that had they met sooner things would likely have been very different.
Which is then supported even more with his confidant in Royal where he sometimes "breaks" and talks about things like, wanting to be a hero when he was younger, or where he shows genuine sadness through portraits or body language etc.
It doesn't help that in third semester when you take him to the Jazz club, all of his convos are him indirectly talking about how he hates himself and such, and how Joker should hate him as well.
Hell, the developers were even trying to say this directly. Files were pulled from the game that showed a Mementos request that was 99% done and is playable, that you get from Akechi in the 3rd semester, and the case is super similar to him and Jokers, and his overall thing in the end was not wanting another person to turn out like he did. On top of literally scolding the PT's for trusting and accepting him and stuff.
I feel so bad for the guy (which is awful because he would hate that)
It really does make the whole amnesia thing the Q games do feel more emotional then just "we need an excuse that makes these game canon
@@archivist_13 I do think while they don’t remember the events, they still changed a little. There is many evidence of this in both games, such as joker and the phantom thieves remembering hikari a little, and all the teams want to watch a movie (and how in pq1 the p3 cast do a party for no reason, plus the fact Elizabeth and makoto for sure remember pq1.) I’d like to think that p3-5 couldn’t have happened the way they did without these 2 games, and for akechi, i really do think he still has the feeling of what he learnt during pq2 in him, and that’s why in royal akechi acts the way he does.

Imagine that Tatsuya was one of those poor souls wanting to find happiness, you have to think about it. All his friends had to forget about each other to save the world including him, yet he did not accept it. Which leaves him the only one with memories, and when he had to enter another timeline one of his friends remember him. Yet he had to go back to his timeline.
Tatsuya had to go back to a timeline where all life on earth is dead. No plants or animals outside Sumaru city. Sumaru city doesn't have the resources to farm for food and the plants in Sumaru alone are not enough to keep enough breathable air. Unless the space ship the cities on can maintain a breathable atmosphere and has an unlimited stock of food (It's meant for deep space travel after all) Tatsuya was sent back to a timeline where everyone is doomed to die very quickly.
If the spaceship does have all that then still everyone's doomed to die because the death of most life on earth (excluding Sumaru) would wake up Nyx and cause the fall.

@@seishonagon8468 Makoto isn't being revived. And they can't do anything with Tatsuya, if they brought him back to the current timeline the universe would implode.

I think Enlil is supposed to be a metaphor.
Enlil is the god of winds and in Mesopotamian Legend he (Yes, HE) is said to be the god of storms, floods, earthquakes etc. For anyone trapped in these theaters, life isn't any more different than a disaster. Now Enlil, as of the one in this game, is providing a wind shelter for these hapless folk, but the wind shelter broadcasts pure negativity, without moral lessons, without any meaningful content and without any optimism. And so while the world in the district are still safe, the storm still blows on not on the outside, but on the inside.
Secondly, if you noticed this boss is similar to Yaldabaoth, Izanami and Nyx. It's a Izanami in Yaldabaoth's clothing causing Apathy Syndrome. Since this is a P3-P5 composite game, it is still justifiable. It's not on a mainline, non-crossover game however.
Finally I think this boss is supposed to mock the player, or mock shut-ins in general. For shut-ins their home is their sancturary, and the outside world is completely hopeless and full of despair. The only place safe from despair in their view is their room. This is why they don't go anywhere else; They merely see everything is out to get them, and the theaters/Enlil is their room who can get them any sort of safety, but in reality they don't do anything other than worsening their mental health.

Joker, Yu, Makoto, Akechi and Kotone. They are probably the strongest persona-users of the series (excluding 1 and the 2 duology oc)
Not to mention, they are all wild cards.
Now think about both Minato and Minako staring at the doors of their counterparts from parallel universes thinking that something is amiss. (In P3P the room of the opposite gender protag is always empty)

It's not that long if you spam physicals instead of targeting weaknesses. She NEVER tries to cover physical, only elemental attacks.

I'll be honest. If there will be a Persona 5 Arena, I hope that they will have their get together at the end. Come on Atlus, don't make such promises without realizing them in a later game.
Arena...Only that Hikari is only around as strong as something like, Oda or Takemi. She isn't any different from anyone else and the Hikari you see in the theater isn't her physical person. If at anything she would be replacing Akechi's confidant in P5R with Akechi moving to Jester/Hunger.

Persona 5 The Royal could introduce Hikari into the P5 Story, so she could make an appearence later, but for now a meet up for the P3, P4 and P5 that doesn't end in a memory wipe would be great.

I think it would be awesome if persona 6 stemmed off of this game.
The main character would be Hikari and Enlil would be the main antagonist because, unlike Chronos, Enlil actively states that she will come back so she has a good reason to return to the series ((maybe minus nightmare face also we need more female protagonists))
I’m really doubtful this would ever happen but it would awesome in my opinion.
Also, I got an idea, what if Hikari's persona could be based on someone Historical? Like Walt Disney or Rorochan? I mean, Walt is an artist and movie director, just like Hikari, and he represents creativity and such... while Roro on the other hand could represent her desire to “end” herself, as w well that she’s also a high (or middle) schooler girl just like Hikari... it could be a good idea for her persona, right?

I feel like a bunch of shadows should have pop'd in to fight the rest of the cast who wern't in your party. It would give them something to do other than stand and watch your 5 man band hack away.
or somehting like ff8 and ff6 did, as one person is knocked out or in this case 'vanishes' another could join in
So like a super duper long endurance fight that's built to chew multiple party members? Would be interesting. Sadly this isn't the only RPG that failed to make use of the full cast in the climax. Lisa made the same mistake.
I think it’s even more sad that if they do end up meeting up again P3 MC and FEMC will be dead
So will Shinjiro. And if they meet up in the canon of P5 and not P5R, then Akechi would be dead as well.
Which would probably be quite depressing for Hikari if she happens to press on what actually transpired. (Though if I'm honest, if they do all meet again, I am hoping that for the P5 side of thing it's under the Royal side, like how it's P4G for this game and not just P4)
I'm hoping this happen in an Arena type game, and that even if they don't directly remember what transpired in Q2, that they at least get notions and deja-vu kinda stuff. More so for the players lol.
Persona anniversary is coming up, so we shall seeee (hopefully assuming they announce something like this and don't go straight for a P6 announcement (or hell give us both please, one to hold us over lol) on September 20th)

He's using magic. Magic doesn't do increased damage to her; It only lets you get boosts. If you go with the standard q1 way, ironically she can be taken down in 20 turns minus.
