Thanks! It was amazing to see. A few still hope that a new operator will pick it up, as they have to try to find one before abandonment can officially start, but i seriously doubt that's gonna happen. The line is more than likely going to be ripped up in the future :(
Who knows, i sure hope something happens but i am not holding my breath. Just gotta wait and see. By the time summer rolls around the rails will more than likely be rusted over already
@@crlaw75 I think they already use part of it as a siding, the line will likely be kept to about a mile past New Sarum or so for headroom. Formet will still use their siding. But beyond there, i think it's pretty much done for. But at least a little will be saved from St Thomas to New Sarum!
Amazing I wish I could have gone. Reminds me when cando stop doing OBRY run. Only difference is no new operators for this.

Great catch, sorry to hear about this.
Thanks! It's unfortunate, the line has little potential for future shippers and traffic is very low as it is sadly
@@thebrantfordrailfan you were at Alymer?
We'll see what happens after Apr. 30.

Someone else on here mentioned that Formet Industries in St.Thomas might be interested in it, as they use some of the line as siding.

There may be hope.
