ahhhhh Macroblank. One of my favorite Barber Beats creators.
Macroblank is NOT a producer of music and NOT even a deejay and doesn't sample anything really. You find some of the original songs youtube automatically adds at the bottom of his description. He just slows down the tempo and maybe adjusts the pitch of the songs and makes a compilation. I enjoy some of the albums as well BUT he does like to make it look as if he produces these sounds, WHICH HE DOESN'T. Hey man, as a fan of BBNG (I assume?) you're being really disingenuous, Macroblank is an amazing producer- his music is often sample heavy yes- but this has largely been the foundation of much of the history of hiphop, when a song has been 'slowed down' often there's a new drum track added, with added elements on top of that as well, much like avalanches, or MF DOOM, he's a talented musician and producer like any other and I implore you take a deeper dive @@christosnikiforos4103

Stop tripping, if you change the pitch enough on any sample, that's what we call a Remix. You need to stop acting like that's not producing. There's plenty of negative comment that are not deleted just like yours on that video you posted so that's not true either. "Good artists copy; Great artist steals."

There are two types of people who complain that their favorite music group is underrated and not very popular. 1)conformists who find it difficult to listen to something that others do not listen to, they feel uncomfortable and guilty. 2) snobs who actually enjoy listening to what is supposedly underrated, because it reinforces their importance. Guys, be the third type: just enjoy the music and support the artists.

Macroblank would usually just copy someone else's song entirely, slow it down, maybe add some reverb, then he would rename it and release it for a dollar or so
Macroblank produces no original work, he even admitted to it on his own bandcamp page - "i take no credit. everything is plundered"
I am surprised that Macroblank FINALLY called his "work" a remix, which is a much more accurate description to everything he ever produced
