They should make more webisodes like this for the army, Marines, Law enforcement/first responders and medics with just random no big name actors. Just to see how they fared with the apocalypse. Would be more interesting to see than all the medieval post apocalypse stuff they keep Dropping
that's eric stahl bro.. he's in terminator 3 as john connor.. and he had a movie about his face having a sort of deformity with cher back in the 80's..
The fact all these men died due to their command failing to give information about wildfire. An entire sub, 155 men, and only 9 walked off that sub. It's relatable to what command would do now since it's shit.
8 actually since Pierce died too. And at least Walter and Riley both died later on and turned
@@WarGrowlmon18 that's very true, i missed that. I hope those other sailors got to their families and maybe, hopefully died with them and not alone like Riley, Pierce, Captain and the others did
@@Wyatt-sh4qz Well TECHNICALLY Riley and Walter DIDN'T die alone. Emile was with Walter and most of Morgan's Group was with Riley. Both times.😏😏😏
Our current military commanders have rainbow hair and pink butt plugs that wiggle.
Wait what happened
I love seeing in-universe lore from the Military perspective of how they lost a grip on the country and everything went to shit, thats why the first season of TWD and FWTD are my favorite two seasons in zombie media history. I'd love to see even more lore pertaining to other places in the US, like whether or not Rural America survived because of the low population and self-sustainability and are the last remnants of the USA, and if entire states like Kansas and Nebraska used their National Guard to keep the peace and kill all the walkers
Yeah that would be called the CRM, remnants of the us military that go around and slaughter random communities, even huge ones, because they feel threatened. Remember, the most dangerous thing in a zombie apocalypse isn't the dead, but the living. All uniforms should be a target because most would follow orders like blind zombies and have no issue killing their own countrymen, most people in the military now only joined for their own personal gain/benefits. The army isn't what it used to be, it's full of trigger happy greedy selfish yes men. The army today wouldn't survive, i feel most would go AWOL, leaving their units more exposed and easier to pick off by militias and infected. And besides, the majority of this country is tired of the lies and corruption of our government and it's military, so don't be surprised if people make uniforms their target in the apocalypse, much like how the Governor handled that national guard unit off that highway in season 3. The army also did bad shit in Tennessee, that one reporter girl with the SWAT MRAP even said the Army was shooting civilians in the street, not even infected, they had orders to kill anyone on the streets. But the national guard disagreed and fought back against the army to protect the civilians. So i feel that would be most realistic. Mindless drones following orders to kill their own countrymen, while the national guard would probably protect us, or join them. No one can be trusted. First rule of the apocalypse. Doesn't matter if they are uniform, a preacher, a teacher or even that nice neighbor who used to bbq with your family could potentially be the person that kills you. It would be nice to see that happen in twd
Well we see the farm get run over in TWD so I assume that could’ve been done in most of that area at least (for rural areas)
In world beyond, Nebraska was a major hub with I think 50,000 people in it and they were in kahoots with the CRM Which is in New York and in world behind (along with dr Jenner in the first season of twd) they talk about how France was the last country to fall and that there were groups of scientists and basically they started the outbreak and now there are running zombies.
So give it a while and I’m sure at least some of your questions/preferences will be fulfilled
A part of season 2 and the beginning for season 3 we see Helicopters like once which shows the military is still running barely, but I agree with season 1 of both TWD and FTWD are good.
@@bonqueque_chez6788 The last 2 seasons of TWD was honestly pretty redeeming , it sets up perfectly for the rick and michonne show that will explain what happened with jadis and rick and I heard daryl is getting his own spin off something to do with france ?????ahaha imagine daryl in france , also
maggie is getting her show and she goes to new york from what I heard with negan I like how they became buddie buddie also last 2 seasons ...
I really thought they ruined twd around season 7 but it seems like the story is just getting started .... they are writing a lot more shows now that the main TWD is over and I'm happy for the stories to come
This alternative twd sounds tremendous
And that's all it takes: one guy dying of something simple and not getting put down and then turning. We've seen that happen before on both shows. Hell, that's what happened with June's daughter Rose and her previous shelter home!!!
Great to see John Connor from the 3rd Terminator movie being in another apocalyptic universe.
right, i was wondering where do i know him from lol
They could have made a tv show in the walking dead about this them working together to survive as soldiers in the apocalypse
They're not soldiers.
It would cut into the main show ...
they could have their own show to explain things though like they are doing with rick and michonne
That's basically The last ship tv show
@@darkleome5409 love that series
I feel like season two of Fear the walking dead could have done more with the boats. I kind of wished they stayed on them for a couple seasons
If this outbreak happened on that boat, they would all die. I have actually seen an outbreak on my boat in 00. It knocked out almost 2/3 of the crew and lasted for about a month. Basically, family members from Washington gave us a virus that they had when we were in San Diego. We catch "bugs" damn near every time we pull into a port because of the sterile environment of a submarine.
Be safe and be 😎
knocked out as in.. killed?
Did 8months In jail once. Only maybe total outdoor like 3days total time because they didn't do rec in winter. When released was June an my allergies tryed to kill me. Had get on a antihistamines over counter for a month till I adjusted. I'd never had allergies before. Amazing what taking ones self out of the world can do.
@@curetonbenares9236
Nobody died. Basically it was the flu combined with severe diarrhea and vomiting.
Sorry for the late reply.
@@Will-dn9dq
It is crazy how the body works in different environments.
@@davidwelch2791 right? We can adapt an adjust to alot. As hg wells book says. "We paid our rights to this planet with a billion deaths." Crazy when look at microscopic life an know that it can kill you. Not out of anger just because that's how it lives and reproduced. It's not personal just evolution.
They should've made a movie/show about people surviving and helping people in the zombie apocalypse
Watch fear the walking dead season’s 4-5. It’s basically that.

This was a great short story but AMC needs to make this an actual show.....
When they leave us wanting moreeeeee
All they’re going to do is turn it into twd like they did to ftwd
Ive seen a lot of people asking how the virus got on board the Pennsylvania.
The answer to that inquiry lies in when the last time the Pennsylvania was provisioned, and where. As to "where," there are very few ports that actually can. With the Pennsylvania being in the Gulf, my guess is Norfolk/Newport News, Virginia. As to "when," given that the boat has been at sea "weeks and weeks," I would estimate that to be between 3 and 6 months -- or, 12 to 24 weeks. Given that US CENTCOM is offline, my guess is that by the time guy got appendicitis, whatever was ingested that was in the food (it's thought that the appendix is an organ from before modern humans anthropologically appeared, that helped the immune system kill toxins and poisons in food) had time to incubate -- and given the sterile nature of the sub, plus how the crew takes meals on Mess Deck, it wouldn't surprise me that the man who died, did so in only a couple of days. That's how long I went before I had emergency surgery for a perforated appendix -- which, from the sounds of things here, may have already ruptured, making the man's body septic and terminal. In other words, he was going to die no matter what. As for the rest of the crew, after infecting the food passively, the virus would have gone airborne very quickly -- and after killing at least 3, those three would have risen fairly quickly, and killed the rest, especially in enlisted areas. Officer areas are more segregated on a boat or sub.
This is my educated guess as to how and why the Pennsylvania's crew got hit hard and died quickly -- and it had nothing to do with crew of the boat getting bit. The virus was airborne, before transitioning to being a bloodborne pathogen.
Seeing the burnt ass pancake is perfect example of ship life
Seeing Nick Stahl in anything always makes me happy.
Glad to see he's doing better after rehab, but man, his face has seen better days.
Why they didn't just make a whole spin off series of short stories within the walking dead universe I don't know
This was a great episode
Too bad Riley went nuts later and tried to help nuke the world.
@@WarGrowlmon18 really??? I just started watching these FTWD
mano eu não sabia da existencia desses eps, muito grande o universo de twd
Only issue is that I think this Submarine (and all personnel) would have been notified very early about what was going on.
I think the naval high command got Torn apart by walkers before they could send out some kind of alert/warning. By the time they realized what they were dealing with it was too late. Comms were down and power went out. But there were hints that they were being kept in the dark as well, before shit went down here that one guy said the Army was being deployed on us soil, not the national guard but active duty army, and the the other crew mates had concerned looks on their faces. And that it was nothing more but a “medical emergency” that was being dealt with. Which if you watched ftwd and the walking dead it’s basically how it started. They didn’t take it seriously because they didn’t know what was really going on. They were just random reports of medical “incidents” all over the country on tv
@@BleedingEyes666 actually, I posted this before finishing the series. It is explained in Episode 4. The Captain was informed but chose to not tell the crew to avoid panic/breakdown in order.
April 10th is where this show came out during my birthday 2 years ago
we saw an asronaut, the marines, army, and navy so far in the walking dead and what happend to them. All we need now is the air force
Shoutout to my dawg Jaquan Henderson my guy really on the big screen!!
These guys could make a series on each of the military branch 😂 how shit went down differently per case
1. The WW2-era sonar sfx are, to me, the sound of a director who doesn't trust the audience.
2. "You don't deserve those dolphins on your chest."
Poor thing he's at the hospital. Found out something went wrong he died he was really Walkers turned Zombie Apocalypse
They should have made a show based on the wealthy and powerful amd how well or not they adjusted to this mess
No one cares about the rich bastards that are more responsible for any mess on the planet than the rest. The experiment that caused the virus was probably funded by the rich bastards.
I’d love to know how these guys became infected, considering they’ve been in a sub, under water away from everyone.
The virus had been spreading for over a year prior to outbreak day. They had to have caught it when they were still on land
since everyone is infected and turn when they die, one of the commanders or wtv died and became a zombie then he bit a couple ppl and they didnt know that it makes u turn and it kinda spreaded like trhat
Everyone is infected and turn when they die with brain intact
I’m pretty sure that in TWD universe, everyone is already infected and getting bit just kills you faster
@@judedang5104getting bit causes an incurable infection that kills the person. The virus is airborne so everyone on the planet is infected and turns after death. The bite doesn't turn you, the death does. The bite is just an incurable infection as to how the end of season 1 of ftwd explained when Travis's first wife died on that beach outside of Strand's house.
If you want to be as smart as a baby dolphin?
So this is basically the spin-off of a spin-off?
W webisode

I am a bit surprised how sailors are talking very informally to their officers at the beginning. Is this how the US Navy operates?
We have to talk formally with an officer
That is why it is fiction 😉
Subs are less formal than surface fleet.
@@l4h4l11 And nukes are even less formal than that.
@@Cowboycomando54and the seaman buttsecks subs are even less formal than that
Riley looks like Mark Hamill from the Wing Commander 3 game.
I can't believe this is the same guy who played John Connor in Terminator 3. He got old
Drugs. Drugs is what happened.
That was like 20 years ago now

@roachqueen1973 are you talking about edward furlong cuz he was in t2 and actor who played john connor was in t3 and I don't think so that he took drugs as edward was the one who took drugs not the other one
I want mere stories from different places in the world set in this universe.
is there an episode before this one? I didn't see how the first guy died
Appendicitis and improper surgery procedures
Looks like they went to downtown L.A. and just shouted out “who wants to be in a tv show?” Nobody looks like they belong in the part, they don’t look like professional submariners.
yo they got john connor
EVIL John Connor

Why is nobody’s hair in regs?
MAKE MORE!
This isn’t the Middle Ages people, don’t die of appendicitis anymore 💀 LOL
Not true. my uncle died from minor surgery. I think it was gallbladder. Now this was the late 70s and he was in his 50s.
@@alwillk He was quoting the guy in the first episode lol
If this new Navy would field day even once in a while; that would lower potential for transmission of infection. 😮
I’ve only seen part 1, where’s the rest?
John Connor on a sub you know your faqd lol
Especially when he later goes nuts and helps a lunatic to nuke Texas.
Is this the full episode
I have dolphins on my chest ;)
I hope he didn’t mean me?
This show is waaaaaack!!!!
Nobody toking about Teddy?
Ignorant question-is longer hair allowed on submarine duty?
Gotta follow protocol even on duty. And hair must be at a certain length.
Reminds me of other new television series where they get unknown actors who seem to have very little acting talent. Then as the season progresses, they seem to get better. The one who plays Riley is difficult to watch in this but some of the other characters are terrible. The idea of people sounding like they are reading lines on a submarine set felt so unnatural.
Is this CGI? Or just really cleaned up?
ok so they took the the 40+ minutes of a regular episode and broke it down to 6 parts that they call episodes. i was wondering where the rest of the episodes were after watching the one 41 min episode...
No that's it. It's a Webisode Series. They did a few of those. Flight 462 all combined together wasn't even 15 minutes long for example.
what the sigma
poop
Who’s here because of the chronological order?
These episodes are like 7 min long wth smh
Is this the full actual show??
no this is the first 7 minutes of the episode
Each episode is 40 minutes. I have a site if you wanna watch it for free, just reply. No bot shit lol.
Im thinkin even Google's confused on when the hell these are supposed to be released
@@DelRico2x 6 but close
If you have amc+ you can watch it all like a full 40 minute episode instead of 6 small clips
Those compressions where so weak no wonder he passed away
No wonder he died, nobody taught them how to do basic CPR.
What the heck I was expecting this to be like 30min+. Disappointing
it is. it's 6 parts. total length is 40+ minutes. about the length of a regular episode. it's part of a playlist (see top right).
@@sidolanters1394I think he means each individual part should have been a full length episode. And frankly I'm inclined to agree because of how rushed and contrived the story feels.
Worst series jajajaj
The World Beyond is actually the worst of anything.
this spinoff is great; but the show is mediocre. and, as @powerboatguy2308 pointed out, TWB is much worse.
