I love her
Lauren, has always been my favorite from both shows. Laguna and The Hills. The manner in which she carried herself, her class, poise and elegance as well as tact, was different than most, in that age group. Seems like an old soul and just laid back. She's of course not perfect but who is?
Wow she sounds so different, her voice. I watched another video of her explaining that some of the scenes from the hills was scripted but anyway she sounded so different there too.
This makeup and hair is the best to her
She looks gorgeous but I like the skinny eyebrows more on her.

Are you kidding me?? LOL! This is a joke, right?! The Real World season 1 was in 1992!!! Not to mention a tonnnn of reality shows after it on MTV. Not to even mention COPS!!! Ugh.
+Truth Sayer You're absolutely right! Some people think An American Family 1973(which is very good) was, but I consider that more of a documentary. I remember watching The Real World and never seeing anything like it before. And yes, it was 1992!! Way before Laguna!

Rewatching the Hills and Laguna Beach, I’ve come to believe more that she’s very fake. She always has that innocent smile and look, but literally she turned every cast member into an enemy, calling them bad friends, etc. How can this be if she’s so genuine and authentic? And what, everyone else is out to get her? Kind of hard to believe. She was a terrible “friend” to everyone on her reality shows and talks to no one now. At least Kristin, Heidi and Audrina have caught up a few times...
Agreed. I rewatched The Hills over the holidays and some of Laguna Beach and her obsession with Stephen would have pissed me off too. I remember being younger and Kristin always getting the bad wrap, now I see it was Lauren stirring the pot. She was also such a gas lighter to Audrina, acting like it was her fault Lo was passive aggressively mean to her. And they were so mean to her about Justin. Also, when she dated Jason, Heidi was just there for her. She didn’t tell her she was a bad friend for moving in with him like Lauren did to Heidi when she moved in with Spencer. I think it’s disgusting Spencer spread the sex tape rumours but maybe Heidi really didn’t know anything about them. She also didn’t deserve to be completely cut off from every one of her friends just because Lauren didn’t like her
Agree when audrina became friends with heidi again lauren was so rude to her. But it was OK for Lauren to talk to Stephanie pratt. And lo was a horrible bitch
I saw her at barnes and noble for her first book. Nothing but a stuck up rich girl . Kristin would have been more of a delight..she would at least smile I bet.
Yeah. I remember watching the first seasons of the hills a decade ago and not understanding all the love she was getting. I just watched Laguna Beach for the first time and I am just speechless. She was never likeable imo. And I hated how she changed her voice and was only smiling and cutesy around boys. I instantly loved Kristin. And although Heidi did seem a bit dim, she seemed like just a fun person with great style (she looked so gorgeous in the episodes I have seen - before the plastic surgery).
When she mentioned the board of sticky notes of future plot lines. For some reason that reminded me of Mona''s board from PLL! Where she had pictures of all the girls & even guys life on their ... so weird.
Laguna Beach was not the first reality TV shows...it was The Real World. Others might even say Cops was too.
Meredith said "one of the firsts" which it kinda wasn't even that, but yeah.

The "future" sticky notes were predictions the producers had or where they wanted to see the season going. It changes nearly every time they shoot.

Not entirely, and only to a point. It got more scripted as it went on.
A lot of the cast members didn’t know the producers were manipulating them, so a lot of the reactions are real.
It’s basically a blend of the real and fake world. A lot like a Truman Show.
Truth Teller Laguna Beach was mostly real though, The Hills mostly fake

@@deesee3622 I use to think so too. At first glance she comes off nice and supportive then I watched the show again and she’s just shady and really good at hiding it. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a lot of pull with the producers to show her in a positive light.
@@santarose5609 I dont see it and everyone that talks about her seems to be good with her. I always thought Heidi was shady from the start. Of course Laura's not perfect because no one is but definitely she cared about her friends and people in general. She carried herself with respect and expected that in return which is exactly how it should be. I think people think because shes so decent there has to be something wrong with her.
@@santarose5609 Well the cast members from Laguna (like Alex M) and I've seen a couple of others from the hills say things like "Oh well there was always one person that they didn't show the true her". I'm sure they are talking about Lauren. I've always liked Kristin. Yeah she's a stuck up bitch too but the thing about it is..she's honest. She doesn't try to play good girl. Only thing that bothers her is if you make it out like she was worse than she was. Like getting madd about her getting mad about Lauren..when Lauren was after her man lol. So what do you expect!
