Allot of money for a boot that doesn´t even have a water liner and therefore not 100% waterproof ..... can´t beat Keens waterproof stay dry membrane, best hiking boots out there IMO
Hi 34979Charlie If you mean a waterproof/breathable type membrane they can be useful, but the membranes wear fast and tend to clog quickly in boots, you can waterproof the leather on these and and they vent well, so have a similar effect, alot of high end boots don't have membranes, for this practical reason, nothing to do with cost etc. Thanks paul
