You hit the head of the second slider before the end of the first slider. Basically, you increase your combo to 2 before the first slider ends, so you get more points for a higher combo than intended when you hit the end of the first slider.
I mean that if there are several sliders like this in the map and you SS and hit each of them earlier, they will all give +48 compared to you hitting them later, even though the combo will be higher for later ones. So if this was based on combo the later ones would give more score, which isn't happening.

I was pretty sure the part that happens on global leaderboards was some ancient bug that was fixed ages ago.
