Glacier Brewhouse! Good choice!! You should see Beluga Point when it’s all frozen over! And Alyeska Resort in the winter! And the tram up to 7 Glaciers Restaurant!! So amazing! They ice skate on that pond in the winter. There’s so many places I could recommend! Next time, go to Homer for sure! Take a ride on the Alaska Railroad. Oh! The Snow City Cafe! Yum!! Come back again. Summer is all about fishing!!

I lived in Barrow, Alaska for five years, not much to see there as it is a small village, but made many trips to anchorage in those five years. Next try the Downtown Deli on 5th Avenue, great sandwiches 🥰
I travel with a Uniqlo down jacket that packs into a pouch. It’s lightweight and it doesn’t take much room. It’s a lifesaver for those unexpected cold travel days. Love your travel blogs!
Have you thought about flying to Vancouver, British Columbian and hopping on a cruise ship and doing Alaska again! Now that would be a great trip! Pick one that's all-inclusive and has a casino! The Pan Pacific Hotel has a great Buffet, beside the cruise ship doc's downtown Vancouver too!
It’s a shame you couldn’t get to Dinali national park you take a bus tour we did that and we counted 27 grizzly bear‘s to actually walk right beside her bus as the bus driver pulled over and stopped so we can observe the wildlife we saw a moose deer sheep it was beautiful
When you were eating those King Crab legs you sat in the same table that I sat. I love that restaurant! I lived there since 1960. I'm in NY now, but there's a place in Anchorage called the Lucky Wishbone that I loved to go two. They have fresh pan fried chicken and I always ordered the Pop's chicken order. Served in a basket with fries and a corn muffin. I always ordered a fresh Strawberry milkshake too. They have other items on the menu, but I always ordered the chicken. They fly their chicken in daily and it has never been frozen.

When I lived there my father used to hunt moose 1 fed 3 families. I hope you had a great visit. A must return. I miss Alaska. If you ever get to Fairbanks go during golden days its fun and there's a community fish fry.
