I've come to think that Umineko was kind of cheap due to the red truth being able to mean anything. "Right now you are the only person alive on this island, yet I am here and of course I am not you". That's some bs and can only make sense a posteriori.
@@plzcme434 I guess Battler was supposed to say that the person in front of him was (Spoilers) Sayo, which would mean he understood the truth of the game. From a reader standpoint though that's imposible to do since we didn't even know such character existed and Shannon and Kanon were confirmed dead.

Red Truth reminds me of how faeries speak in stories. It’s always the truth but it’s a damn run around of what they mean.
