Hello! I plan to get my process started for my B GC. I’m a 22 yr old renovating contractor out here in vegas and just want to study and get all prepped for the exams.

Hello, I worked summers and part time for a handy man who Mainly did roofs for the last 4 years while I was earning my masters in business. Can I get my class c specialty with his sign off on my experience (handyman license) and I can also have our customers sign off too for experience too. Would that work? Thank you!!! You’re content is great!

Thank you so much for the informatove video you created. Do you think working as a liscenced architect in another country would be accepted as the required experience if somebody in the US signs it off?
California accepts experience from abroad, however, Nevada may have different requirements. You should definitely reach out to the NV state board to confirm this: www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Hello if you wouldn’t mind helping guide me in the right direction, I’d like to get my b2 license so that I can bid multiple facet’s of a job, however I’d also like to have a gutter team, cabinet team exc and potentially only bid that one part of a job what is my best course of action for this ? Any information would be appreciated thanks
I live in IL and I want to relocate to Vegas and I'm a painter. None of this is required here and seems pretty intense. I'm seeing some things saying I don't need a contractors license to be a handyman if the jobs are under 1000. Is this true and what license do I need for that?
How did it go? I'm moving from California to las Vegas and I was just doing gigs without license but want to get the contractor in NV. I just know that bids from $500 and under don't need license .
If I was building flatbeds and headache racks for trucks would that qualify me for being a “contractor”. It doesn’t require a building permit and it’s not on a construction site? Don’t see how that would require a contractor license when I am not working residential or commercial
California and Nevada have a reciprocity agreement so this means that if approved, you would not need to take Nevada's trade exam. Just law. You can learn more about that here: digitalconstructive.com/california-contractor-license-reciprocity/
Hello Matthew. The state board in Nevada handles criminal convictions on a case-by-case basis. Your best bet would be to refer to their website for more info: www.nvcontractorsboard.com/faq_central.html
