- Hey love bugs!!! This took so much longer than planned, but I'm super excited to give you this review. Adwoa Beauty recently launched their Blue Tansy Collection to repair and strengthen damaged tresses. This collection is pack with high performing ingredients to give your hair the tlc that it needs. your hair looks so beautiful Bri😍😍 it’s the fluffiness for me. i absolutely love the mask & leave in. i may like them a little more than baomint. i think people tend to stray away from products that say strengthening but we all benefit from it. this is protein done right. Bri! Yaass, I love this whole collection! As you said it does provide a need. I felt totally secure in heat styling my hair after using these products to protect. This line was straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I feel the name is misleading because my hair was juice, soft, hydrated and perfectly balanced. Im 4a protein sensitive too.

@Trinity M That's totally false from a chemistry standpoint, and I aced chemistry. It is well known that excess of any 1 ingredient can ruin the entire substance. This is why too much calcium can actually lead to brittle bones.
Protein, and any other ingredient, is completely relative to the substance it's being added to. Adding protein to protein sensitive hair (hair that already rich in protein) can instantly damage your hair and make it brittle and dry the same way adding calcium to bones already rich in calcium ruins the balance and makes bones brittle.
Hair isn't PURE protein, it's a substance made up of hydrogen and sulfur bonds that combine with keratin to form a matrix. Imbalance of any one substance forming that matrix can upset the balance and damage the hair.
"Protein Sensitive" just means hair that is naturally rich in protein and will be sensitive to additional protein. Hair that is fine, thin and or damaged tends to respond well to protein because it's harder the upset the chemical balance from a lower precipice.
I love your spirally curls. I bought the deep conditioner and leave from the blue tansy line and I love them both. I only used them once but I will try them again next wash day

I’d say they’re equal. You definitely don’t need both.

My favorite product is the serum tbh. Then that darn shampoo. I didn’t it was clarifying enough the first go round so I had the nerve to go in for a 2nd cleanse and I learned real quick that it most certainly is clarifying enough. But that serum just makes my life easier I pretty sure I’m headed towards being a blow dried natural so these are gonna be life changing for me!!!

Love this! Just got the Adwoa Baomint shampoo and leave in as part of the b1g1 deal they just had. I am probably going to wait for the Sephora sale tou mentioned in the other video to pick up stuff from the blue tansy line. I like a good rinse out conditioner and a good clarifying shampoo so I’ll probably just get those. Love the Bantu knots! Mine have always failed in the past but I was doing them on wet hair so that’s probably why 🤦🏾♀️. I did do a a really good Bantu knot the other day on blown out hair with the Soultaticals can’t believe it’s knot pumpkin pretty much by accident. I will have to recreate that one and record it for prosperity 🤣🤣🤣

I am finally getting around to this vid, it's been in my watch later list since it dropped. Have yet to try Adwoa though I've been following them on Instagram for yeeeeeaaarrs. My hair doesn't love shea butter so I keep pulling the trigger on other brands first. But this collection working well for blow drying might mean that it fits a niche and give me an excuse to try them.

You're making me even more excited about this line for Black Friday. Hope Adwoa/Sephora has a good deal. What is the brush you used to blowdry your hair? Been wanting to blowdry my hair for the longest while but I hate my revlon blowdryer.

How would you compare this rinse out conditioner to the mane choice’s Cheers conditioner? The Cheers conditioner also has protein and a lot of slip. It’s actually my fav rinse out conditioner. Would you say that Adowa’s conditioner is the same or better than that one?
