The advice that you are giving to foreigners in this video is first class. I remember the first time I visited the Philippines almost 5 years ago. I was absolutely shocked by the culture but soon fell in love with the way of life there. I live in General Santos city now and I enjoy it so much. Even today I am still overwhelmed at the attention I get. I am tall with blonde hair and blue eyes so get noticed very easily. My advice to anybody visiting in the Philippines is that you need to slow down to the way of life there. Nothing is rushed and generally there is two methods of time management there. Obviously the normal time and then there is Filipino time which generally means it will get done at some point. I did struggle to slow down at first because I was used to living in London where it’s very busy. It took me about four months to finally get used to it. Generally many of the people are very helpful. I was on the highway and my single motor broke down. Literally as soon as I had come to a halt somebody offered help. He did get the bike going for me and he would not accept any money which I thought was very admirable. The term it’s more fun in the Philippines is definitely true.

Bruh, they aren't goods you are paying for. In this thinking you are only spending to receive your transaction? Now I'm not saying be a fool but the transactional nature of your thinking is indicative of someone I wouldn't want to date.

Easy money. That, I guess are the single rule for scammers.
I’ve got contact with a pretty girl through adating site. I made the initial contact by just writing and saying hi, and asking if she wanted to chat. The next day she send me something like 20 pictures in different dresses from evening dress to bikinis. 😳 She was quite a sight in a bikini. Well buildt on the right spots.
The day after she was a bit sad about lack of money!
Well, the Conona isn’t easy for a Filippina so i figured that, what the hell, i could send her a bit of cash so she could manage the rest of the month. Yeah, right. It lasted three days then she was in a finansiel dire again, her electricy bill was due.......
And that was the end of story. 😂
I sure hope that she’s doing okay - propably for someone else’s money.

I visited the Philippines just before Covid hit and was out walking around in a rural setting. I came onto a bridge and there sat three girls... little girls from maybe 5-10 years old. I asked the oldest if she could speak English and with a smile she said, "No". I smiled and started walking away and I heard the oldest in perfect English shout to me, "I LOVE YOU!!!"

Not having a relationship about money is KEY! Awesome video advice! I will say that's kind of a rough thing to do to someone you are really interested in to set up a meet and not show up. If someone set me up to meet them like that I would never want to see them again. What I would suggest is to HOPE that they show up but do NOT count on it. If they show up to spend your time there then great you proceed onto the plans you had with them. If they do NOT show up you have your vacation on your own or just pick up a girl while you are there it shouldn't be hard hell just go to the mall and pick one you think is pretty and ask her if she's interested. If that doesn't work you spend less money on the vacation! It's a win win and you don't hurt anyone. Your English is more clear than the girl I'm talking to currently over there so GOOD JOB on the English pronunciation skills!

What worked out well for me was doing some social networking with Filipinos and becoming friends with them. I let my Filipino friends know I was interested in meeting a Filipina for an LTR.
After about a year of doing this I was introduced by my friends to a lovely Filipina from a good family and of good character. Shoot that’s 90% of the battle.
So that’s my suggestion as to meeting a like minded Filipina to fall in love with. Filipinos tend to be very loyal once you’ve passed the shit test. They won’t just introduce you to any Filipina but will introduce to one they think would be a good match for you.
I agree with this method 100% Vetting a woman is VERY important these days and it involves getting to know her family and friends for charater references. In traditional families this is how it was done years ago. But, in the modern western world that healthy checkpoint has been abandoned

I met a girl on Date In Asia. She works in a medical field. I never sent money. She never asked for it. I went to meet her in Cebu and thats when you really know whats going on. The internet creates scammers though but there are ways to validate if you are sending money to the right person and how its being spent.

Yes, scams are very common here. I don't know why people here scam foreigners and I don't understand why can't they work hard.
I met my lovely province girl on a Facebook chat site & we didn’t mean to, but we fell in love. After 1 year, I visited her in the phillipines for a month & it was the best time of my life. Since then, I have brought her to my country ,Australia, for a three month stay, & while she was here, we got married. Online relationships can work & I tested mine many times during our three year LDR, I can assure you, but happily, she passed every time & not once did she ask for money.

The scam advice is solid, though I wonder if I would ever admit to testing someone (like the meetup test). I would imagine that it would not leave a good impression to say you want to test someone, even though it is important at times :)

I've been on cupid and have a good time chatting and meeting filipinas there. As long as you do your homework first about scammers before going online and you are genuine about what your relationship status and goals are. Have fun but dont lie. Some great advice! I was thinking about joining a couple of popular dating sites for the last 3 weeks but my gut has been telling me not to do it yet. These sites sound like they are just like the American sites where the women are getting hundreds of messages. Finding a good person online is almost like winning the lottery.
Interesting information. I hope the guys looking for such encounters pay attention, but most wouldn't unless they've already visited or been through it already. I'd personally think it would be better to get over there and set myself up before considering looking for a companion. I just enjoyed the time I'd spent there in the past, and thought it would be a wonderful place to settle down and retire. It's a beautiful country and I'd met a number of great people when i was there. Then again, I was actually living out in the provinces and came in contact with several families who I had the pleasure of working with. I didn't spend much time in the "entertainment" areas since I enjoyed the less populated areas.
