I love the design & aesthetics of your space & the video overall. The ending quote was nice: "Our homes should inspire us to go out into the world to do great things and then welcome us back for refreshment."
Thank you , thank you 🙏🏼 I have a grey sofa and white wallls in a rental, I needed some ideas on how to achive a simple but warm and peaceful decor, I I found it here ❤
Love it! And I agree with the sentiment "I used to think I needed to be more organized, but I realized I just needed less stuff." I'm going through the same right now, difficult as a maximalist 😅
Yes! A huge epiphany moment for me, right there! 😁 Realizing that too much stuff will make you feel uncomfortable, no matter how good you organize them, was the moment I knew I am a minimalist.
Wow it's so beautiful thank you for sharing! I don't even feel like I have enough space for vases and candles, not a minimalist just live in a small flat so maybe it's time to declutter the stuff I don't need 😅 Edit: Even the dog matches the decor 😍😍😍
So welcoming and warm. Mars is gorgeous. Where did you get his bed? I have 4 large furbabies. Really struggle with keeping things clean and dust free. Would you ever consider doing a video on furbaby friendly design including fabrics, cleaning etc?
I am so happy to hear you like the video 🥰 Aww 4 fur babies 😍 U are in heaven! I actually made the bed myself, a few years ago. It's holding up so well. I can make a tutorial in some future video. Also, that's such a great idea for the furbaby friendly furniture! Thanks! Will do! 💕
Excellent, i love how you explain and you definitely know how to keep a house well . I live in India and we have insects and lizards inside the house. No matter how hard I try to clean. Can’t use lovely baskets ☹️
Whats the pebble shaped coffee table called? Love it! You might like the vitra corniches, they’re not that expensive and can introduce some more high end design and natural shapes into your space.
7:06 I see you have the standing lamp from ikea on the left side. Did you replace the cap or something? I'm wondering how come it looks way more orange/brown than mine! That would go really well with a Japandi style :D
@@jemmantiri537 Sure 🥰 Just go to videos and scroll all the way down to the last ones. From there count 6 from down up, and you'll see it named by IKEA HACKS 💕

@@HomeByMon oh, that’s so cute. I bet he’ll choose some really great supplies. Can’t wait to see you and Mars’ DIY project. Thanks for answering back. I have a lovely little fur baby, as well. Hi nice design, Where's the oak non-ikea chair from ?
It's from a local brand. They replicate retro armchairs and handmade them. Really beautiful 😻
Thanks for the video. Where did you get the white top coffee table and woven accent chair?
The chair is Ikea, and the table is handmade, but there's a similar one in jysk 🥰

I'm still in the process of decluttering. Will do an update for sure 😊💕
Sorry, but this is not minimalism, to much stuff in the room. Put All things together in One corner, and you'll see what I meant
