Great vid, just curious as to your rig set up. It looks like a Carolina rig, but couldn't tell what size and type of weight you were using. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated!
How deep do you think the water is that you are casting into? I subscribed. And I think when I cast as far as I can. I'm casting too far. Love to see a boss getting it!
Hello Waz I do like using 1/2oz -1oz sinkers. However I don’t cast too far. I usually throw about 20-25 yards out it really just depends. But that semi slow retrieve along with a couple of pops gets em.
I always enjoy your upbeat videos; even when the catch is not too successful. What is a "conventional paddle tailed grub"' in that area? A Lucky 13 Surf Candy Grub?
Great work Mikey !!💯🔥 Excellent content for me especially for a newbie like me , learning the surf 🎣!! Where my hoodie ? haha jk . Much love and respect !!✊🏽
Dude! That's nice..I'm coming out this fall..might come up
@@raymonddavis8346 sounds good but it’s slow as of right now.
It will turn around towards the end of September
@@mikestacklebox I saw another guy catch like 12 big perch in no time..amazing
Love those days when you have a lot of action, nothing like being on the surf. Especially when it's not crowded.
I hear ya bro.. little back story my haters showed up and went to a back up spot. Needless to say worked out for me not for them 😂
May I ask what you were using
@@funnygum1 crappie sliders on this particular morning

It is a 1oz. Double ringed Torpedo weight. Flattened to minimize rolling but “shuffling” during retrieving.
When is the best season to go Perch fishing or doesn't matter ?
I feel definitely the spring into summer. However the winter does yield bigger size’s. Just the weather is the biggest concern.
It looks like you always slay them you go to Half Moon Bay.
Kinda bro…
👍👍👍👍
Thank you my
Brotha

Thanks Ron just the Honey Badger 🦡 super slayer grub. However a 2 inch paddle tail grub will work something with red flake works well.
Perfect for sinigang
