Folded my shirts like this. Put them in a suitcase. Two airports and a bunch of stevedores later they came out of my case in excellent condition. Many thanks for taking the time to show us.
Same here, I now use it for my T-shirts as wel, for my, underwear, for my socks, It happened that I even pack my electronics such as my laptop around a wooden plank now.
That's brilliant. What a simple thing to learn after I've been ironing my own shirts for 30 years and filling my wardrobe with them on hangers.. Thank you, Mr Francomb, that's a real help.
Always nice to see someone who knows what he is doing. I used to keep the cardboard that came with the shirts for folding the shirt and they used to put a th8n cardboard piece under the collar to keep it’s shape great help for storage.thanks for the video.
Been doing this for years using a plastic clip board. I had also bought a cool plastic contraption in Singapore that was made for this. I use trifold and fold the arms going down towards the bottom of the shirt. As for the collar, if you fold on an ironing board, you can have the collar overhang the edge of the board. When you stack two shirts, stack them with buttons facing each other with the collars at opposite ends. If you don't have the shirt bags, the plastic bags from the dry cleaners work great or even larger plastic grocery bags.
Hello, thanks we are glad that you enjoyed our video. Unfortunately, we do not stock the products that you require, but you should be able to purchase them from a department store. Hope that this helps.
Amazing.....ive struggled all my life to fold shirts and within 5 minutes ive just folded and packed 5 shirts into my weekend bag...perfectly. p.s. I just used a magazine...worked to a tee. Thanks.
You are missing a marketing opportunity :- Official Lewin folding boards in proportion to each shirt size, and a special Shirt folding table with soft top and depression for the collar to rest in during the face down part of the operation. Nice video, and at last I understand how to deal with the sleeves.
Thanks a lot for the video. Is the dimension of the wood like the dimension of an A4 paper and do the size of the shirt change the dimension of the wooden part?
Do you do anything to support the collar during storage? I started folding and stacking my shirts to save space, and it seems that the collars begin to flatten out over time.
I was stacking them about 3-4 tall. The collars would hold shape pretty well, but the collars of the lower shirts flattened over time, comparable to the compression shirt collars can experience when bunched on a rack. It seemed to be due to the weight of the other shirts, but time also appeared to be a factor.
2:07 Why oh why do these video editors insist on showing us the instructors face? We want/need to see what he's doing that's all. All we need is the instructor's voice and a close-up of his hands.
Uncle Meat If you need a close up to fold a shirt then somethings off. This video is for the technique of how, steps. Not a play by play of what your hands should be doing. Be a man, learn through experience what his hand movements are.
It's supposed to be an instructional video. When you are watching someone demonstrate a technique, students watch his hands and listen to his voice, they don't stand there like morons staring at his face. Uncle Meat is correct.

Raf! La?🎊🎉😱♥️🤩
That shirt looked so neat, that I got an instant urge to go and fold a shirt using that method! I don't care even if it's one o'clock at night!

For those asking for dimensions of the board, he said it's slightly bigger than A4. An A4 sheet of paper is approximately 8 1/4" x 11 3/4".
AlumniWeaver I use my iPad Pro 😁
Thank you!!
You saved me from having to ask
He also said a magazine so I get my measure ments off and magazine

Hi Rich, you can use a similar technique to fold other clothing items, like knits and polo tops. This option should work for most options.
They used to have a packing video that he presented but I can’t find it 😢. That was pure ASMR heaven.

I don't know why but I enjoy this video!
Great tips for ironing and folding
Thank you, I now have a new hobby!
If you have an old A4 binder, you can cut the front off at the fold for a nice sturdy folding board.
Are you able to stack few to reduce the weight on the shirts?
thank you Lewin. I learnt this today and feel equipped :)..
Thank you very much for this easy and clever way to fold a shirt! :)

What do you do in the normal section? The 3 second fold?

Hello, how many shirts are you stacking on top of each other as this may affect the collar?
Thanks for the excellent tutorial.
I loved the idea. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us
Can I use my ipad instead of the board?

Yeah use it. It would be blast off
I have two of them. Thanks for the tip; it makes the other one useful. 😁

I am wondering how some idiots have disliked this useful video!
Thank you so much sire for a such a great video. I liked it!
Same
Aryan Parsi There are always complainers....
Because it's not a secure fold. The shirt falls open the minute you pick it up.
Way to much talking and fluff is why. Just get on with it.
Sir you are my saviour! I trave a lot and I always have trouble packing mi shirts. From now on I won't have wrinkled shirts (sorry my English).
I have that exact shirt from T.M Lewin as well, this tutorial couldn't possibly be more relevant haha
Love your videos! What are the dimensions of the board? Couldn't quite hear on this lovely tutorial. Thanks:)
Exactly what i needed! Thank you very much!
Use a common cutting board. I use them and they work wonderfully.
good idea thanks a lot mr.
wow u have fantastic video, ive learn a lot of it!thank you very much
Sir, you've just saved my first business travel! :)
Oh
I was stacking them about 3-4 tall. The collars would hold shape pretty well, but the collars of the lower shirts flattened over time, comparable to the compression shirt collars can experience when bunched on a rack. It seemed to be due to the weight of the other shirts, but time also appeared to be a factor.
Whats the length and width of the one you're using?
Great tutoria!. Thank you for the demonstration.
Great video! Thanks!
could you please give me the exact dimension of that wooden part?
Thanks a lot for the post?
Any average sizes for the board?
Looks great and easy,thank you
thankyou show much for this video...but can u pls tell me the size of that pad..?? width and length howmany cm??
THAT WAS BEAST AS HELL!!!
Amazing,good job
Can you provide the size (in inches) of the board you use for folding your shirts?
Thanks!!
*but did you established the shirt?*
Thank you, much appreciated, yes it is a perfectly folded shirt, and it was like watching Anderson Cooper folding his shirt 😊
sir, excellent work. but, what about the size of the board?
A clipboard does a fine job.
Also note that if you're putting the shirt in a bag, it's a lot easier before you remove the board.
Love the video! I didn't have a folding board, but I found a nice legal pad did the trick.
I have watched this video a number of times but I can not hear what size you say is the board size, It sounds like 8.4"??

No, I get what he means. I got lost at the sleeve part.

A_Wise_Young_Man I can't believe you're actually whining like a bitch over this...
