Just finished grinding 1-125 on guardians solo, its a grind but it teaches you so much and it becomes fun towards the muddle to end because if you learn from your mistakes and start getting better youll see just how much more skilled you are then a large chunk of the community
That's what I'm working on right now. Just hit level 22, and I'm now starting to get a grasp on naval pvp. I know what I need to do, and now I'm starting to piece it all together. I figure once I hit 105, I'll be able to hold my own against all but the sweatiest and the hackers.

few weeks ago i got the gold ghost, and i love to see a newer player enjoying it and not caring about the curse as much, you've got a great mindset man enjoy this sill pirate game
Bro I watched your vid today and had the courage to do solo hourglass, ended up with a 5 kill streak and the last ship was a brig, so 1v3 and still took the win, thank you bro
I’m only level 8 on guardians, have about 220 hours on the game, in open seas I feel like a menace in solo sloop pvp, I’ll board brigs and have a 1v3 for a laugh and I win most my encounters, that gives me the confidence to think I can do hour glass, so I try it and get bullied, I feel like the people who genuinely play hour glass regularly are a completely different breed of SoT players.
most people that you would encounter on high seas are just people who are new to the game and want to have fun. Hourglass grinders are a whole different type of people that will usually stomp on anybody
super good man, im finding it so painful to get the hang of sea of thieves pvp, i think its my accuracy i just cant get my kills man. but seeing you do it makes it feel possible for me, perhaps ill try again, thank you :) edit: your loss at 17:10 is what situation i end up in every single time man i dont know what to do
Just keep going the unfortunate truth is it gets easier the more you do it but you have to do it consistently & a lot. The main thing is to just keep pressure I think.

As good as the experience is, part of it makes you want to get something from them because when you're in a long battle and barely win, just to sink in the next match, you don't usually want to go back in. I just started SoT fairly recently but have watched alot of videos so fairly knowledgable about the game and decided to try and get better at pvp and figured hour glass was the way to go and heres my outcome so far, it either goes one of 2 ways i absolutely shit on someone, or i get absolutely shit on and i meam so fast that i cant even learn from the "mistake" i made, i mean my mast is down before i can even blink and i cant catch it because of sniper and i cant cannon back because their cannon is pounding our cannon alomg with being sniped... im getting better but a very slow and painful pace

I think it was because they weren't captained ships. I don't have streamer mode on & because I won most of my matches I think I can make the assumption that they were newer players & might not have had captaincy.
man i used to do areana but then after they removed got of the game hopped back in 6 months became trash then i played again this hoourglass came out and i said wtf im not grinding anymore for anything in this game never got back on the game again
hey man, i played quite a lot hg and i'm looking for someone active to go duo sloop. i'm lvl 350 athena and 450 reaper. just let me know if u are interested in grinding (i prefer to use cannons as i am not a very good tdmer, but i am also up to switch roles if necessary)
No idea how people are levelling up at all, I just lose every single match.. especially the waves in this game make it completely impossible to aim the cannon, and once someone is running around on your ship it's impossible to hit them (galleon). One guy can jump on your brig, anchor you, and one-hit kill 3 people with a shotgun, you're dead.. it's barely a game tbh. Also it's very strange how much work you need to do to requeue a match.. vote emissary, go to ship, buy supplies, buy crates, vote on map, raise anchor, drop sail.. just have a rematch button

yeah after doing hourglass for 50 lvls it has made me hold my own in pvp much more

2:06 would recommend in that situation hard lefting to keep angle thats what i usually do with ppl full sailing

Started my grind recently. Never was good at shooting cannons so it’s a struggle, but I can do close quarters combat no problem. This will take awhile
