- I have been searching for something like this for years so in the end I decided to make one myself. This is a mix of some sounds that make me feel happy, relaxed and chilled. They remind me of summer days in my grandmothers garden in rural England. Hope you enjoy it there are various birds, several wood pigeons and distant church bells. Ambient, chill out background while working or relaxing. #EnglishCountryGarden #SummerSounds #Birdsong #BirdsChirping

This video sends me back at 12 yrs old while everything was so peaceful , the church bells and the doves 😢 , time passes fast
This sounds exactly like my childhood! even the local church bells are perfect. I've been searching for MONTHS for something like this, love the pigeon calls. Thank you
If you're reading this, I hope that day comes real soon where your wildest dreams come true. Where you finally feel that you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. May you lead a life full of positivity and greatness. You got this. It's gonna get better real soon❤️🙏
Thank you so very much❤️😊
Your words really touched my heart!
Bless you, always🙏
The thing I miss most from my childhood in England was the church bells ringing and the call of the cuckoo
I live in a house which is near a church, and every Sunday, you’ll hear the church bells play this same tune. It’s such a joy to hear! Thank you for this.
love how its not just a bell toll but actual change ringing perfect English village ambience
It sounds like a heavy Taylor 12
I feel like crying- the pigeon at the start!! My most vivid memory is playing in my great nan and great grandfathers garden. It was always sunny, and I’d be looking for snails and frogs under the bushes in their garden! I also remember me and my little sister being scared of their little garden shed because of the big spiders- I don’t get to hear these birds anymore… I hate what humans are doing to the world :( Both my Great grandparents have passed away, have never been to their house since- it’s been a few years now. I don’t know who lives there but I know that they are lucky! Miss my great grandparents- these nature sounds are how I remember them :)
Oh my goodness this is so my childhood sounds thank you so much you are giving me so memorable happy comfortable memories that i have forgotten. Thanks to you i'm tearing up with happiness 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I listen to this when I’m feeling homesick for England 😭
I love wood pigeons!! Thank you so much for this!!

It reminds me of my grandparents old house in the summer evenings
Me to my grandmothers house
@@BruceTomalin Same. Our grannies lived well! :)
Dudee sameee!
No wonder why many writers are from England. So much stories, real and fictional to tell in this little slice of Heaven one would call the English countryside.
It reminds me of being with my lovely mum who's been gone now for 7 years still raw 💔 I just love the wood pegion x
The wood pigeons sound remarkably similar to our North American mourning dove 🕊
Very relaxing and peaceful 😌
because they are collared doves not wood pidgeons
@@kinopio416 oops sorry my bad
And it's pigeon not pidgeon 😉
Just needs the occasion ice cream van and football bouncing noise and it'd be perfect haha 💕
I'll see what I can do :)
Love pigeons
Thank you for this, I grew up in the English countryside but now live in a city for work and I miss not being there. I can now enjoy a bit of home where I am. God bless
@BruceTomalin - I can’t thank you enough for creating this Bruce.
As a British expat in America, I miss the sounds of the English countryside more than anything else. From the call of the cuckoo and the cooing of the wood pigeon, to the sound of distant church bells ringing across the meadows.
Listening to your recording always lifts my spirits. A heartfelt thank you for that 🙏🏼
this is the best video to ever exist. :´( thank you
Remember when I was attending my flight attendant training in a far away city and I was HEAVILY stressed. Listening to this sound every morning during doing my makeup helped me a lot emotionally/mentally. ❤️🙏🏻
Love this, these are lovely sounds that remind me of where my mum is in the Cotswlds
Takes me back to carefree summers as a child when time didn't seem to flee so fast, these sounds are still there today just to slow down enough to find them and enjoy them .
Is this what Heaven sounds like, I wonder 🤔
This is so beautiful, I love the flowers and sounds.
This makes me homesick for Britain. I live in Ohio, but I'm hoping to come home this year. 🇬🇧
I'll swap you, I'm stuck in England and I'd love to be anywhere else.

We live in a mad world, it depresses me.
No cars, how lovely.
I love change ringing, it is so therapeutic to do it.
It isn't summer or the countryside without a wood pigeon cooing
@Hereandthere andnowinyourface I didn't say they don't?

Can you upload one where the birds are a little quieter compared to the church bells? This is wonderful, a great way to start a Sunday morning

Nice. Those are mostly collared doves calling though.
@Hereandthere andnowinyourface
The collared dove (s. decaocto) calls three times in a row ("hoo *hoooo* hoo"), the voice tends to break during the first and middle syllable.
That's what you hear in the beginning.
Wood pigeon (c. palumbus) - calls five times in a row ("hoo *hoooo* hoo hoo hoo").
The voice doesn't break and the call sounds calmer and lower pitched in comparison to s. decaocto.
Please look up these bird calls and know your bird calls in the future, cheers.
