If you're reading this, I hope that day comes real soon where your wildest dreams come true. Where you finally feel that you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. May you lead a life full of positivity and greatness. You got this. It's gonna get better real soon❤️🙏
I feel like crying- the pigeon at the start!! My most vivid memory is playing in my great nan and great grandfathers garden. It was always sunny, and I’d be looking for snails and frogs under the bushes in their garden! I also remember me and my little sister being scared of their little garden shed because of the big spiders- I don’t get to hear these birds anymore… I hate what humans are doing to the world :( Both my Great grandparents have passed away, have never been to their house since- it’s been a few years now. I don’t know who lives there but I know that they are lucky! Miss my great grandparents- these nature sounds are how I remember them :)
Thank you for this, I grew up in the English countryside but now live in a city for work and I miss not being there. I can now enjoy a bit of home where I am. God bless
Takes me back to carefree summers as a child when time didn't seem to flee so fast, these sounds are still there today just to slow down enough to find them and enjoy them .
This sounds exactly like my childhood! even the local church bells are perfect. I've been searching for MONTHS for something like this, love the pigeon calls. Thank you
Oh my goodness this is so my childhood sounds thank you so much you are giving me so memorable happy comfortable memories that i have forgotten. Thanks to you i'm tearing up with happiness 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Remember when I was attending my flight attendant training in a far away city and I was HEAVILY stressed. Listening to this sound every morning during doing my makeup helped me a lot emotionally/mentally. ❤️🙏🏻
@BruceTomalin - I can’t thank you enough for creating this Bruce. As a British expat in America, I miss the sounds of the English countryside more than anything else. From the call of the cuckoo and the cooing of the wood pigeon, to the sound of distant church bells ringing across the meadows. Listening to your recording always lifts my spirits. A heartfelt thank you for that 🙏🏼
No wonder why many writers are from England. So much stories, real and fictional to tell in this little slice of Heaven one would call the English countryside.
thank you so much for making this. I have been searching for something like this for ages too. it reminds me so much of my parent's house in St Albans, with the Cathedral chiming its bells. Minus the traffic noise ;) thanks!!!!
@Hereandthere andnowinyourface The collared dove (s. decaocto) calls three times in a row ("hoo *hoooo* hoo"), the voice tends to break during the first and middle syllable. That's what you hear in the beginning. Wood pigeon (c. palumbus) - calls five times in a row ("hoo *hoooo* hoo hoo hoo"). The voice doesn't break and the call sounds calmer and lower pitched in comparison to s. decaocto. Please look up these bird calls and know your bird calls in the future, cheers.
I believe it's Devon. It's sad that the bells have stopped now here in Nth Devon, haven't heard them (except recordings on wedding days) in years now, used to be campanology practice every Tuesday evening in the summer but that's all gone now thanks to culture changes and not in a good way.

The thing I miss most from my childhood in England was the church bells ringing and the call of the cuckoo

You don’t understand how lucky you are :( I grew up in an American city with NO church bells at all. There’s no sound better than the sound of bells ❤

This reminds me of when I was little and used to spend the summer in my grandma's house near the sea, somewhere in southern Italy
This is so beautiful, I love the flowers and sounds.
This makes me homesick for Britain. I live in Ohio, but I'm hoping to come home this year. 🇬🇧
I'll swap you, I'm stuck in England and I'd love to be anywhere else.

This is so comforting.... If you're looking for something similar, listen to Virginia Astley's debut album, "From Gardens Where We Feel Secure".
Nice. Those are mostly collared doves calling though.

Can you upload one where the birds are a little quieter compared to the church bells? This is wonderful, a great way to start a Sunday morning
Glad you like it I'll have a go. I know what you mean. This was one of several mixes.
Great video, really love the cottage towards the end of the video, can I ask where this cottage is please many thanks

It's not actually but I'm sure church bells sounds similar in lots of areas of the world.

Those are doves, not wood pigeons
the constant church sounds were annoying....
